Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and I have lifted it before the Lord with care. I hear how deep the pain and frustration has been after what you suffered, and how much you are longing for justice, for restoration, and for assurance that others will be protected.
I want to point you to the true victory God offers. Scripture teaches that thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and that faith is the victory that overcomes the world. That victory was won at the cross, where Christ triumphed over sin and the power of the enemy, and made a way for us to be free. When we abide in Him, His victory becomes ours. This does not mean God promises to grant every specific outcome we ask for in the exact amount or timing we desire, but it does mean we can have real victory in our hearts even while we wait for earthly matters to be resolved.
Part of that victory is learning to walk in the Spirit and not be ruled by the flesh. When hurt has been deep, anger, anxiety, fear and bitterness can take hold. God promises victory over those things as well, but He often works little by little. The way into that freedom is to recognize we cannot change ourselves by our own effort, to reckon that old nature to be dead in Christ, and to turn the whole matter over fully to Jesus. In that place of surrender He begins to remove from within what used to control us, and He gives peace and power that we could not produce ourselves. To Him alone belongs the glory for what He does in us.
There is also victory through praise and trust before the answer is seen. Scripture shows that God’s people were able to rejoice and praise Him even before the battle was finished, because they trusted His mercy and His justice. You can bring your legal need before Him honestly, asking for wisdom for those who represent you, for a just and fair outcome, for provision for what you have lost, and for protection for others. At the same time we leave final justice in God’s hands, for He is the righteous judge. We can pray that truth would come to light and that accountability would happen through proper and lawful means, without holding onto vengeance in our own hearts, and we can ask Him to guard your heart from being consumed by the desire for retribution.
My prayer for you is that you would know Christ’s victory in a deeper way through this trial, that you would experience His peace that passes understanding, healing in body and soul, and freedom from the burden of anger and fear. I pray that God would give wisdom and integrity to all who handle your case, that His will would be done and that justice would be served according to His perfect wisdom, and that you would be provided for as He sees best. Above all I pray you would know the joy of a loving relationship with God through Jesus, who alone is our salvation, and that you would find strength to trust Him day by day as He leads you step by step into His purposes.
