We hear your cry for justice and vindication, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting this matter in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The pain and betrayal you feel are real, and the Lord sees every injustice done against you. We pray that the Holy Spirit would move with conviction and power in the life of the one who has caused harm, not only to you but to others as well.
Father God, we come before You as Your Word declares in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Lord, we ask that You would indeed repay every wrong and bring full accountability to this situation. Let no sin go unnoticed, and let no injustice remain hidden. We pray that this individual would be mightily convicted by Your Spirit, brought to their knees in genuine repentance, and held fully responsible for their actions.
We also lift up your complaint before the Lord, asking for total victory and success in this matter. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Lord, we ask that You would plead your case and bring restoration—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. We pray for a full refund of every penny taken from you, and even more, as You see fit, according to Your justice and mercy.
However, we must also speak truth in love. While it is right to seek justice, we must guard our hearts against bitterness and a desire for vengeance that goes beyond what is godly. Ephesians 4:31-32 reminds us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness does not mean excusing wrongdoing, but it does mean releasing the burden of anger to the Lord, trusting Him to handle it in His perfect way.
Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen and comfort this dear one who has been wronged. Psalm 34:18-19 says, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* Bring healing to their heart, peace to their mind, and restoration to all that has been taken from them.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. There is no other name that saves, no other name that heals, and no other name that brings true justice. We declare that this situation is in Your hands, Lord, and we trust You to move mightily on behalf of Your child.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
