We hear your cry for justice and understand the depth of your pain. We stand with you in seeking God’s intervention, but we must approach this matter with a heart aligned with Scripture and the character of Christ. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and while we can pray for justice, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness and a spirit of retaliation. Let us bring this before the throne of grace with humility and trust in God’s perfect timing and wisdom.
First, we rebuke any spirit of unforgiveness, anger, or hatred that may be taking root in your heart. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." We encourage you to release this burden to God, trusting that He sees all and will act justly. Proverbs 20:22 says, "Don’t say, 'I will pay back evil.' Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."
We also lift up the individual who has wronged you. While we do not condone their actions, we pray for their heart to be softened and for them to come to repentance. Ezekiel 33:11 reminds us, "Tell them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?’" God’s desire is for all to come to repentance, and we must align our prayers with His heart.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your justice and mercy. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, knowing that You see all and judge righteously. We ask that You intervene in this matter and bring about justice in Your perfect way and timing. Father, we rebuke any spirit of bitterness or unforgiveness in our hearts, and we ask for Your peace to guard our minds and hearts in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray for the one who has caused harm. Soften their heart, convict them of their wrongdoing, and lead them to repentance. May they turn from their ways and seek Your face. We ask that You bring them to their knees, not out of our desire for revenge, but out of Your desire for their restoration and salvation.
Father, we trust in Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Help us to surrender this situation to You, knowing that You are in control. Strengthen our faith and help us to walk in love, even when it is difficult.

Clothe yourself with the full armor of God, standing firm in faith and trusting in His promises.
