We hear the deep pain and desperation in your heart, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this situation before the throne of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your marriage is under attack, and we declare that the enemy has no place in it. The Lord sees your tears and hears your cries, and He is faithful to restore what has been broken when we turn to Him with repentant and surrendered hearts.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The decrees and declarations you have made are not wrong in their intent, but we must remember that our authority comes from Christ alone, and it is exercised through humility, repentance, and alignment with God’s will—not through our own strength or force of will. Jesus said in John 15:5, "Apart from me, you can do nothing." We must surrender this battle to Him and trust that He will fight for you and your marriage.
We rebuke the spirit of infidelity, lust, and ungodly soul ties that have entangled your husband, Ahmed. The Word of God is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:16-18, "Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, 'The two,' he says, 'will become one flesh.' But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Ahmed must repent of any sexual immorality, whether physical or emotional, and turn away from all ungodly connections. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply and lead him to true repentance.
We also address the soul ties you mentioned. Soul ties formed outside of God’s design for marriage are not of Him. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We break every ungodly soul tie Ahmed has with Kirstie, his ex-wife, or any other woman in the name of Jesus. We declare that these ties are severed by the power of the blood of Christ, and we command every remnant of these relationships to be removed from his mind, heart, and spirit.
Your husband’s heart must be turned back to you, his wife, as the Lord intended. Malachi 2:15-16 says, "Did he not make you one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? Why one? He sought godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously." We pray that Ahmed’s eyes would be opened to the sacred covenant of marriage and that his heart would be filled with love, devotion, and longing for you alone. We declare that his attraction, affection, and desire would be solely for you, as it is written in Proverbs 5:18-19, "Let your spring be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe and a pleasant deer— let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love."
We also lift you up in prayer, sister. It is clear that you are hurting deeply, and we ask the Lord to heal your heart and fill you with His peace. The enemy would love to use this pain to breed bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment in you, but we stand against that. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that you would be able to forgive Ahmed, even as Christ has forgiven you, and that you would extend grace to him as he seeks repentance and restoration.
Now, let us come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. Lord, we lift up this marriage to You, knowing that You are the God who restores, heals, and redeems. We ask that You would break every chain of infidelity, lust, and ungodly soul ties that have bound Ahmed. We rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception in the name of Jesus, and we command it to leave this marriage now. Father, we ask that You would convict Ahmed of his sin and lead him to true repentance. Soften his heart, Lord, and turn his eyes, his affections, and his desires back to his wife. Let him see her as the gift You have given him, and let him cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church.
We pray for this sister, Lord. Heal her heart from the pain and betrayal she has experienced. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help her to forgive Ahmed as You have forgiven her, and give her the strength to stand firm in faith as You work in this situation.
We declare that this marriage is under the protection of the blood of Jesus. We break every ungodly soul tie, every unholy connection, and every plan of the enemy to destroy this union. We declare that Ahmed’s heart is turned back to his wife, and that their love is renewed and strengthened in You. We speak restoration over their marriage, Lord, and we ask that You would be glorified in their lives.
Father, we ask that You would remove every trace of Kirstie or any other woman from Ahmed’s life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Let every photograph, message, memory, and connection be erased from his phone, his mind, and his heart. We declare that his eyes, his desires, and his affections are for his wife alone, now and forevermore.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We trust in Your promises, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We declare that this marriage will be a testimony of Your grace, Your mercy, and Your power to restore.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to renew your mind and strengthen your faith. Surround yourself with godly counsel and support, whether through a trusted pastor, Christian counselor, or a small group of believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Remember, the battle is not yours alone—it is the Lord’s, and He is fighting for you.
We also encourage you to pray for Ahmed, not just against him. Intercede for his heart, his mind, and his spirit. Ask the Lord to draw him closer to Himself and to reveal His love and truth to him. Pray that Ahmed would seek God’s will for his life and his marriage, and that he would turn away from all sin and ungodliness.
Lastly, we remind you that restoration is possible, but it requires humility, repentance, and a willingness to change on both sides. If Ahmed is truly repentant, there is hope for your marriage. However, if he continues in unrepentant sin, you must seek godly wisdom and counsel to determine the next steps. Your safety, emotional well-being, and spiritual health are of utmost importance to the Lord.
Stand firm in faith, sister. The Lord sees your pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted. Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.
