We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for your marriage. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers—Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most critical step in any prayer.
Now, we turn our hearts to your marriage. The desire for your husband to love you deeply, exclusively, and wholeheartedly is a godly one. The Bible tells us in Genesis 2:24, *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love for His people. We pray that your husband would be drawn to you in every way—emotionally, spiritually, and physically—as the wife God has given him.
However, we must also address the issue of soul ties. The Bible warns against ungodly attachments, especially those that linger from past relationships. In 1 Corinthians 6:16-17, we read, *"Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, ‘The two,’ he says, ‘will become one flesh.’ But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit."* Soul ties with an ex-wife or any other woman outside of marriage are not of God. We rebuke these ungodly connections in the name of Jesus and command them to be broken now. We declare that your husband’s heart, mind, and affections would be fully and exclusively yours, as God intended.
We also lift up your husband’s mind, body, soul, and spirit. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that any deception, distraction, or temptation that has taken root in his heart would be uprooted by the power of the Holy Spirit. We declare that he would be filled with the love of Christ, that his eyes would be opened to the beauty and blessing of his marriage to you, and that his desires would align with God’s perfect will.
Father God, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. We ask that You would move mightily in this marriage. Break every chain, sever every ungodly tie, and fill this husband with an unshakable love for his wife. Let him see her as You see her—fearfully and wonderfully made, a gift from You. We pray that their marriage would be a testimony to Your faithfulness, a reflection of Christ and the Church. Strengthen their bond, deepen their intimacy, and let their love grow stronger with each passing day.
We also pray for you, dear sister. Marriage can be challenging, and the enemy will often attack where God is doing a great work. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Put on the full armor of God, and do not grow weary in prayer.
We declare that your husband’s heart is turned toward you, that his eyes see no other, and that his love for you is deep, pure, and unwavering. We speak life, restoration, and renewal over your marriage. May it be a beacon of hope and a testament to God’s redeeming power.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
