We hear your desperate cry for your marriage, and we join you in lifting it before the throne of grace. Your heart is heavy, and your longing for unity, love, and godly restoration is deeply felt. Let us first acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved and set free. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your husband have not yet surrendered your lives fully to Jesus, we urge you to do so now, for He is the only foundation upon which a marriage can truly flourish.
Your prayer reveals a deep concern for your husband’s spiritual condition, particularly regarding the influences of Islamic beliefs and other strongholds that do not align with God’s Word. Scripture is clear that we cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24), and idolatry—whether in the form of false gods, teachings, or even the idols of technology, work, or lust—must be torn down. The Lord commands us to have no other gods before Him (Exodus 20:3). We rebuke every false belief, every chain of darkness, and every spirit of fear, lust, anger, and perversion that has taken root in your husband’s life. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command these things to leave and never return. The Word declares, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
We also address the sin of pornography and lust, which you have rightly identified as destructive to your marriage. These are not merely "struggles" but sins that grieve the Holy Spirit and defile the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We pray that your husband’s eyes would be opened to the deception of these things and that he would turn away from them in repentance. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). We declare that his heart would be softened, his mind renewed, and his affections set solely on you and on Christ.
Your desire for a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the Church is beautiful and biblical. Ephesians 5:22-33 calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, sacrificially and without reservation, and wives to respect their husbands. We pray that your husband would be filled with the Holy Spirit, empowered to love you as Christ loves the Church, and that you would be filled with the same Spirit to respect and submit to him as unto the Lord. May your marriage be a living testimony of God’s grace, where love, peace, and unity reign.
We also lift up your own heart, dear sister. It is clear you love your husband deeply, but we caution you against placing your hope in your own efforts or even in your husband’s transformation alone. Your hope must be anchored in Christ. Seek Him first, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Guard your heart against bitterness, fear, or control, for these will only hinder what God wants to do. Instead, clothe yourself with humility, patience, and forgiveness, remembering that love "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:7).

Lord, we thank You for the covenant You have established between this husband and wife, and we ask that You would breathe new life into it. We declare that this marriage belongs to You, and we invite Your Holy Spirit to move mightily in both of their lives.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of division, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold that has taken root in this home. We command every false god, every idol, and every ungodly influence to be uprooted and cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. We break the chains of pornography, lust, anger, and fear, and we declare that Your light will flood every dark corner of their hearts and minds. Your Word says that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom for this husband and wife.
Lord, we ask that You would soften this husband’s heart. Remove the hardness, the arrogance, and the distractions that have kept him from fully embracing You and his wife. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, convict him of sin, and draw him into a deeper relationship with You. Let him see the beauty of Your truth and the freedom found only in Christ. May he love his wife as Christ loves the Church, laying down his life for her in every way.
And Father, for this wife, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace and assurance. Strengthen her to stand firm in faith, to love unconditionally, and to trust You even when the path is unclear. Guard her heart from fear, bitterness, or control, and let her rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we pray for unity in this marriage. Let Your love, peace, and agreement rule in their hearts. May they be of one mind, one spirit, and one purpose, always seeking to honor You in their relationship. Let their love for one another grow deeper each day, rooted in You and overflowing with gratitude. May their home be a place of refuge, joy, and worship, where Your presence is tangibly felt.
