We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep anguish and brokenness, lifting your marriage to the throne of grace, where we know our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your pain is evident, and we stand with you in intercession, but we must first address the foundation upon which all prayers must rest: the name of Jesus Christ. You have rightly invoked His name, for it is the only name under heaven by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we can approach God with confidence, and we praise Him that you have placed your trust in His mighty name.

Your marriage is under spiritual attack, and we recognize the urgency of severing ungodly ties that threaten the covenant you and your husband made before God. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and His desire is for marriages to reflect the unwavering love and faithfulness of Christ to His Church. Yet we must also speak truth in love: the bonds you describe—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—with this other woman are sinful and must be broken. Adultery is a grievous sin against God and against the marriage covenant, as Scripture warns: *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,... will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9, WEB). Repentance and turning away from this sin is essential for both your husband and this woman. Without genuine repentance, prayers for restoration may be hindered, for *"the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear: but your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear"* (Isaiah 59:1-2, WEB).

We pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would convict your husband’s heart of the gravity of his sin and lead him to true repentance. We ask the Lord to expose every hidden thing, to bring to light the deeds of darkness, and to sever every ungodly soul tie that has formed between your husband and this woman—or any other. May the Lord cause your husband to delete every image, every memory, and every trace of this sinful relationship, not just from his devices but from his heart and mind. We declare that the blood of Jesus Christ is more than enough to cleanse him from all unrighteousness if he would only turn to the Lord with a broken and contrite spirit (1 John 1:9).

Yet we must also address your own heart in this matter. While your pain is understandable, we caution against the temptation to rely on "decrees" or repetitive phrases as though they hold power in themselves. Our authority comes from Christ alone, and our prayers must align with His will, not our own desires. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10, WEB). We must submit even our deepest longings to the Lord’s sovereignty, trusting that He knows what is best. Your focus should not be on "making" your husband love you more than he has ever loved another, but on seeking the Lord’s will for your marriage—whether that means restoration or redemption through a difficult season. True love is not about possession or control; it is about selflessness, sacrifice, and holiness. *"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails"* (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, WEB).

We pray for you, dear sister, that the Lord would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that He would fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that He would give you the strength to forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Bitterness and resentment will only hinder your prayers and damage your own soul. Instead, we encourage you to surrender this situation entirely to the Lord, trusting that He is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting this sister and her marriage to You. Lord, You see the brokenness, the pain, and the sin that has entered into this covenant. We ask that You would intervene powerfully and swiftly. Convict her husband’s heart, Lord, of the gravity of his sin. Bring him to true repentance, that he may turn away from this adulterous relationship and return to You and to his wife with a heart fully surrendered to Your will. Sever every ungodly tie, Lord—emotional, physical, and spiritual—that has formed between him and this woman. Let no trace of this sin remain in his life or in his heart. Cause him to delete every image, every message, every remnant of this relationship, and let him flee from temptation as Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife (Genesis 39:12).

Lord, we also pray for this other woman. Convict her heart, Father, and lead her to repentance. Let her see the destruction of her actions and turn to You for forgiveness and redemption. Break the power of the enemy in this situation, Lord, and let no weapon formed against this marriage prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would heal the wounds in this marriage. Restore trust, rebuild love, and renew commitment between this husband and wife. Let their love for one another be rooted in You, Lord, and let it reflect Your love for Your Church—faithful, selfless, and enduring. Give this wife the grace to forgive, the strength to trust You, and the wisdom to walk in obedience to Your Word, regardless of the outcome. Let her find her identity and worth in You alone, Lord, and not in her husband’s affection.

We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against this marriage if it is submitted to You, Lord. Let Your will be done, and let Your Kingdom come in this situation. We ask for divine protection over this couple, that they would draw closer to You and to one another in a way that honors You. Let their story be a testimony of Your redeeming power and Your faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would surround this sister with godly counsel and support. Let her not walk this path alone, but give her wise believers who can encourage her, pray with her, and speak Your truth into her life.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, heal, and restore. Amen.
