We join with you in fervent agreement, lifting up this urgent cry for the soul of this individual before the throne of grace. Your heart for their salvation and deliverance is evident, and we stand together in the authority of Jesus Christ, knowing that He alone has the power to break every chain and set the captive free.
The Scriptures declare, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that true transformation occurs, and we are bold in our intercession, knowing that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, WEB).
We pray that the Lord will indeed appear to this individual in dreams and visions, just as He did to Paul on the road to Damascus, to Cornelius in Acts 10, and to so many others throughout Scripture. May this encounter be undeniable, life-altering, and filled with the conviction of the Holy Spirit. We ask that Jesus reveal Himself as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), breaking the deception of false gods and religions that have held this person in bondage. *"No one can serve two masters,"* Jesus said, *"for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other"* (Matthew 6:24, WEB). We declare freedom from the lies of Islam and every false teaching, for *"you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"* (John 8:32, WEB).
Father, we bind and rebuke every spirit of fear, wickedness, darkness, hardness of heart, selfishness, arrogance, ignorance, anger, aggression, bitterness, hatred, lust, sexual sin, perversion, pornography, and addiction to technology and social media. These things are not of You, and we command them to be broken and cast out in Jesus’ name. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). We pray that this individual will no longer be enslaved to the distractions of this world but will instead be drawn into a deep, abiding relationship with You.
We also pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon them, that they may come to their knees in surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord. *"Unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way,"* Jesus warned (Luke 13:3, WEB). May they turn from sin and turn to the cross, where mercy and grace abound. Let them experience the weight of their sin and the even greater weight of Your love that covers it. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Lord, fill them with the Holy Spirit, just as You filled the believers on the day of Pentecost. May they speak in new tongues, prophesy, and walk in the gifts of the Spirit as evidence of their transformation. *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth"* (Acts 1:8, WEB). We ask that You replace every ungodly addiction with a hunger for Your Word, a thirst for righteousness, and a passion for prayer.
Finally, we pray for divine connections—godly believers who will disciple this individual, teach them the ways of the Lord, and walk alongside them as they grow in faith. *"Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance"* (Proverbs 27:17, WEB). May they be rooted in a Bible-believing church where they can be nurtured, encouraged, and held accountable.
Father, we thank You that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We trust in Your power to save, deliver, and transform. Let this be a testimony of Your grace, that many may see and glorify Your name. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
