We hear the urgency and deep cry of your heart, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord, for we know that our God is mighty to save, deliver, and restore. Your plea is filled with pain, and we understand the weight of spiritual bondage, ungodly soul ties, and the brokenness that sin brings into marriages. Let us first anchor this in truth, for the Word of God is our foundation, and His promises are our hope.

The Lord commands in **Exodus 20:3-5 (WEB)**, *"You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol... You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God."* Your prayer aligns with God’s heart—He desires that all idols, false gods, and ungodly influences be shattered in our lives. The bondage you describe—lust, unforgiveness, soul ties with an ex-spouse, and the influence of other women—are not of God. These are strongholds that the enemy uses to distort what God has joined together. **2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB)** reminds us, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."*

Yet we must also address the heart behind your words. While your desire for your husband’s faithfulness is righteous, we gently remind you that no amount of decrees or declarations can replace the power of *repentance* and *surrender* to Christ. You cannot force your husband’s heart to turn—only the Holy Spirit can convict and transform him. **Proverbs 21:1 (WEB)** says, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Your role is to pray, trust, and walk in obedience, allowing God to work in His timing. Your words also carry a tone of possession—*"my husband... eyes for me only"*—and while marriage is a sacred covenant, we must be careful not to idolize our spouses or demand control over their free will. **1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB)** instructs wives, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."*

Now, regarding the soul ties with his ex-wife: these are real spiritual bonds that must be broken *in Christ*. If your husband has not repented of past sin—whether fornication, adultery, or emotional idolatry—he must do so. **1 Corinthians 6:16-18 (WEB)** warns, *"Don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, ‘The two,’ says he, ‘will become one flesh.’ But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* If there has been unrepentant sin, it opens the door to demonic influence. Pray that your husband would see the gravity of these ties and renounce them before God.

As for your request that your husband have *"eyes for you only,"* we pray for restoration, but we must also ask: Are *you* walking in a way that honors God in your marriage? Are you submitting to Christ first, loving your husband with the fruit of the Spirit—patience, kindness, and self-control? **Ephesians 5:22-24 (WEB)** calls wives to submit to their husbands *as to the Lord*, and **Titus 2:4-5 (WEB)** urges women to *"love their husbands, to love their children, to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed."* A godly marriage is built on *both* spouses seeking Christ above all else.

Your plea for your husband to have a *"very real encounter with Jesus Christ"* is powerful. This is our greatest prayer—for him to be *saved* if he is not already, or *revived* if he has strayed. **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If your husband does not know Jesus as Lord, no amount of binding spirits or breaking soul ties will bring lasting change. He must *repent* and *believe* (Mark 1:15). If he is a believer but backslidden, pray for conviction: **"Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit." (Psalm 51:12 WEB).**

Finally, we notice you invoked the name of Jesus—this is *essential*. **John 14:6 (WEB)** says, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* There is no access to God apart from Christ, and we rejoice that you recognize this. However, we must also ask: *Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior?* Have you surrendered your life to Him? If not, no prayer for your marriage will avail, for you must first be right with God yourself. **1 John 5:14-15 (WEB)** assures us, *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."*

---
**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. Lord, You see the brokenness in this marriage, the ungodly soul ties, the idolatry, and the spiritual strongholds that have taken root. We ask for Your divine intervention—break every chain of lust, unforgiveness, and bondage that has ensnared this husband. Lord, if there are soul ties with his ex-wife or any other woman, we command them to be *severed* in Jesus’ name. Let every ungodly connection be exposed and destroyed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Father, we pray for this husband—if he does not know You, *save him*. Open his eyes to his need for a Savior. If he has strayed, *convict him* and draw him back to You. Give him a *real encounter* with Jesus Christ, one that shakes him to his core and leads him to repentance. Break the power of controlling and domineering spirits in his life. Deliver him from arrogance, hardness of heart, and every form of sexual sin. Let him see the damage of his actions and turn to You in humility.

Lord, we also lift up this wife. Strengthen her faith. Help her to trust You fully, even as she cries out for her marriage. Guard her heart from bitterness, fear, or idolizing her husband. Fill her with Your peace and wisdom. Show her how to love her husband in a way that honors You, whether through gentle words, prayer, or godly submission.

We declare that *no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of division, adultery, and deception in Jesus’ name. Let this home be a place where Your presence dwells, where forgiveness flows, and where both spouses seek You above all else.

Father, we ask for *Your will* to be done—not ours. If there is unrepentant sin in this marriage, expose it. If there is idolatry, crush it. If there is need for restoration, *restore*. If there is need for separation due to unrepentant adultery or abuse, *lead them*. But above all, let Your Name be glorified.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways. In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, we pray. **Amen.**

**Encouragement for You:**
Sister, we urge you to keep seeking God *first* (Matthew 6:33). Fast and pray for your husband’s salvation and repentance. But also examine your own heart—are there areas where *you* need to surrender to Christ? Are there resentments or fears you need to release? **1 Peter 5:7 (WEB)** says, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."*

If your husband is in unrepentant sin, especially adultery, we gently but firmly remind you that God *hates* divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He also calls His people to holiness. **1 Corinthians 7:10-11 (WEB)** instructs that a wife should not separate from her husband, but if she does, she must remain unmarried or be reconciled. However, **Matthew 19:9 (WEB)** allows for divorce in cases of sexual immorality (though reconciliation is always the hope). Seek godly counsel from a pastor or biblical counselor if this applies.

Stand firm in faith. **James 5:16 (WEB)** tells us, *"The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Keep praying, but also *keep walking* in obedience. God is faithful, and He hears you.
