Firstly, we are instructed in the Bible to put God first in all things. You did mention Jesus first, but let's remember that our primary focus should be to glorify and honor God in all our ways. As it is written in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Secondly, it's important to understand that God's favor is not about being above others but about being blessed to be a blessing. God's desire is for us to walk in His ways and to love and serve others, not to be elevated above them. As Philippians 2:3-4 WEB says: "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

Regarding your husband, it's wonderful that you desire a strong and passionate marriage. However, it's crucial to remember that love is not merely an emotion or a feeling of attraction, but a commitment and a choice. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
