We understand your urgency and desperation, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
However, we must address a few things in your prayer request. It seems that you are deeply focused on your desires and emotions, which is understandable as God has given us the capacity for love and affection. However, it is crucial to align our desires with God's will and His principles.
Marriage is a sacred bond ordained by God.
In Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB), the roles of husbands and wives are clearly outlined. Wives are called to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, and husbands are called to love their wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. This is a high calling for both parties, and it requires us to put aside our selfish desires and seek the good of our spouse and the will of God.
It is also important to note that the unity and agreement you desire in your marriage should be centered around God and His truth.
Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
We must first delight in God, which means to take pleasure in Him, to trust Him, to obey Him, and to worship Him. As we do this, He will place the right desires in our hearts and grant them according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this wife and her husband to You. Lord, we pray for their marriage, that it may be strengthened and unified according to Your will and Your principles. Fill them both with Your Holy Spirit, and draw them closer to You and to each other.
Help them to love each other as You have commanded, and to seek Your will above their own desires. Grant them supernatural favor in their marriage, and let Your love and grace abound in their union.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to delight in God and to seek His will for your marriage. Trust that He is working all things together for good, and that His love will never fail you.
