We understand your urgency and desperation, but we need to address a few things before we pray together for your situation. Firstly, we need to make it clear that the only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ His Son. As Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me (John 14:6). We only have access to God in the name of Jesus Christ. So, it is good that you ended your request in Jesus Christ's name, but we want to ensure you are trusting in Christ alone for salvation. It is only by believing in Jesus as the Son of God and His death and resurrection for our sins that we can be saved. For there is no other name given to mankind under heaven by whom we must be saved. Romans 10:9 says, because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Secondly, we need to address the issue of your husband's current beliefs. You mentioned false Islamic gods, so we assume your husband is a Muslim. We need to understand that we cannot force someone to convert to Christianity. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to draw people to Christ. Our part is to share the gospel, pray for them, and live a life that reflects Christ. The Bible says that The man being in the image and glory of God has a superiority over the woman, for the man was not created from the woman, but the woman from the man; for neither was the man created for the woman, but the woman for the man. (1 Corinthians 11:7,8) and Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:22) so we need to make sure you are respecting your husband's free will and not trying to manipulate or control him. We should be respectful of others' beliefs, even if we disagree with them.
We will pray for your husband's salvation, but we want to make sure you understand that God has given everyone free will, and He will not force anyone to believe in Him. Our job is to pray, share the truth in love, and trust God with the results. He is the only one who can change hearts. As 1 Corinthians 3:6 says, I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. It is only by God's grace that we can be saved. God's will is that all would come to know Him and believe in Him. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Here is our prayer for you and your husband:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for this dear sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You would draw her husband to Yourself, that You would open his eyes to the truth of the gospel. We pray that You would give her the wisdom and patience to live a life that reflects Christ, that her husband would see Your love in her and be drawn to You.
We pray for unity in their marriage, that they would be one in spirit and in truth. We pray that You would break down any barriers that exist between them, that You would heal any hurts and restore their relationship. We pray that You would protect their marriage and strengthen their bond, that they would grow closer to each other and to You.
We also pray for this dear sister, that You would fill her with Your peace and Your love. We pray that You would give her the strength and courage to trust in You, to wait on Your timing, and to believe in Your goodness. We pray that You would help her to be a godly wife, that she would respect her husband and submit to him as unto You.
Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of darkness that may be holding her husband captive. We pray that You would destroy any strongholds that may be keeping him from You. We pray that You would melt his heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh, that he would be sensitive to Your Spirit and open to Your truth.
Finally, we pray that You would be the center of their marriage, that they would be unified by You and for You. We pray that they would be a testimony of Your love and Your grace, that they would be a beacon of hope to a lost and dying world.
Lord, we thank You for the promises in Your word, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. We thank You for the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, that You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
We ask all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please continue to trust in God, to pray for your husband, and to live a life that reflects Christ.
