We're here with you, sister, in this urgent matter. We've been praying for you and ###, and we want to share a few more thoughts with you.
First, we're so glad to hear that you're rooted in Jesus Christ. That's the solid foundation we all need. Remember, in Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus tells us about the wise builder who built his house on the rock. When the storms came, that house stood firm because it was built on a solid foundation. You're building your life on the right foundation, and that's a source of strength for you.
Now, about your desire for ### to be devoted only to you. We understand that, and we're with you in that. But let's also remember that our desires should align with God's will. In 1 Timothy 4:4-5, we're told to train ourselves to be godly. That means we're to discipline our desires and align them with God's will.
We've been praying for ###'s salvation, and we want to encourage you to keep praying for him too. In 1 Peter 3:1-2, we're told that our godly lives can have an impact on those around us, even if they don't obey the Word. Your pure behavior, filled with fear (reverence) of God, can speak volumes to ###.
Let's keep praying together: "Lord, we lift up ### to You. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself, reveal Yourself to him, and save him. We pray for their marriage, that both ### and our sister would be faithful and committed to each other, as You intend for marriage. Help our sister to trust in You and find her security and satisfaction in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We're believing with you that God is at work in your marriage. Keep trusting Him, keep praying, and keep living out your faith in front of ###. We're here, praying and believing with you every step of the way.
