We understand your urgent prayer request for your husband's salvation and the unity of your marriage. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord, seeking His will and intervention according to His word.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as this is the only way we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
Now, let us pray for your husband's salvation. Only God can change and soften a heart, and we trust that He is working in your husband's life. Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; (Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB).
We also pray for the unity of your marriage, that God would bring you both into agreement and deepen your relationship. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor together. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one keep warm alone? If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 WEB).
We must address that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Therefore, we pray that any inappropriate ties or relationships with other women be severed permanently, as you've requested. For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, (1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB).
Finally, we encourage you to continue in prayer and faith, trusting that God is working in your situation. Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and draw him to Yourself, making him a born-again Christian. Bring them into total unity and agreement, and bless their marriage abundantly. Sever any inappropriate ties with other women, and protect their relationship. Deepen their love and commitment to each other, as they follow Your will for their lives.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
