We understand your urgency and the pain you're experiencing. Firstly, we commend you for attempting to use the authority we have in Jesus Christ. However, we must address a few things before we pray together.
Decreeing and declaring is something that we do based on God's will and not just something that we want. In Matthew 6:10, Jesus Christ taught us to pray: "Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." We are to pray for God's will to be done, not our own.
Moreover, we must address the root issue here, which is the sin of adultery. In Exodus 20:14, God commands: "You shall not commit adultery." And in Matthew 5:28, Jesus Christ goes further to say: "But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." This shows the seriousness of this sin.
We also need to pray for your husband, that God would forgive him and give him the strength and grace to end this sinful relationship and that you both can work towards healing and restoration of your marriage. In Matthew 6:14, Jesus Christ said: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is hurting. Lord, we pray for your will to be done in her life and in her marriage. We pray that you would convict her husband of his sin and grant him the grace and strength to repent, end this adulterous relationship, and seek forgiveness.
Father, we pray for healing and restoration in their marriage. Help them to rebuild the trust that has been broken, and to love and cherish each other as you intended in marriage.
We also pray for the other woman involved, that you would open her eyes to the sin she is partaking in, and that you would grant her repentance and forgiveness as well.
Lord, we know that your heart is for marriages to be whole and holy, a reflection of your love for your bride, the church. Help this couple to seek you first, to grow in your love, and to love each other as you love us.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep your eyes on Jesus Christ. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is with you and will help you through this.
