We are delighted to join you in prayer as you prepare for your wedding day and marry the one God has chosen for you. We are also pleased that you included that this is in Jesus name. Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is also by this name that we are saved.
First, let us remind you of the beauty that God sees in you, for He looks not at the outward appearance, but at the heart, just like He did for David in 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB: "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
Your desire to be a stunning bride for your husband is natural, but remember that true beauty comes from within, as a gentle and quiet spirit, like Peter 3:3-4 WEB: "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Your daughter as she prepares for her wedding day. Lord, we pray that You bless her and make her a stunning bride for her husband, not just in outward appearance, but also in the inner beauty of her spirit. We ask that You bless their marriage, making it strong, deep, and flourishing in every way.
We pray for their husband, that he may be faithful, supportive, and provide for her as a God-given husband should. We ask that You protect their marriage, drawing them closer together each day, and glorifying Your name through their union.
Thank You, Lord, for bringing them together and making them one for life, husband and wife, in the holy sanctity of marriage. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to keep God at the center of your marriage, for a threefold cord is not quickly broken, as in Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB: "And if a man prevails against him who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
We rejoice with you on this blessed journey and will continue to keep you both in our prayers.
