We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you and your family are facing. We come together in Jesus' name, and we are willing to pray for you and your family. We pray for your sister, that our sovereign God may comfort her heart and reassure her. We know that children are a gift from God, and we trust that He will bless her with a child at the perfect time. Let us remember the words of Psalm 113:9, WEB: "He makes the barren woman keep house, and be a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!"
We also lift up your father to the Lord, as he prepares for his PSA test. We pray that the Lord would be in the midst of the medical staff, and that any trace of cancer would be completely eradicated. We remember the words from Psalms 107.28, WEB: "Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses."
We also want to pray for you and your spouse, asking God to bless you both with a child. We pray that God's will be done in your lives and that He would grant you the desires of your heart.
We must also address that it seems that the focus is so much on the sadness and fear that we are not seeing the peace of God (John 14.27, WEB:"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.") We should trust in God and be grateful for the good things in life. We should not allow our negative circumstances to overshadow everything that God has blessed us with. We encourage you to spend time with Him in prayer and in reading scripture to draw closer to God.
We understand that you feel tired and unable to pray, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (Psalm 55:22). It is also important to remember that we should come before the Lord with thanksgiving, not just with our requests. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Finally, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and He is in control of all things. We trust that He will work out all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray that you and your family would trust in Him, and that you would find peace and comfort in His presence. We pray that God would be glorified in all these circumstances, and that you and your family would grow closer to Him through this time. We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
