The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). This person is not your enemy; they are a captive, and we must pray for their deliverance even as we seek protection from their actions.
The torment of your pet is a cruel and unnecessary suffering, and we cry out to the Lord for its return and for this person’s heart to be convicted. Proverbs 12:10 reminds us that *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal,"* and what is being done is an affront to God’s creation. Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard the hearts of those being targeted. Replace their fear with faith, their anxiety with trust in You. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned.
Most of all, Lord, we pray for this person’s salvation. Soften their heart to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
