We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have victory over every spiritual attack. It is no coincidence that the enemy intensifies his assaults during holidays—times meant for joy, worship, and reflection on God’s goodness. The devil hates to see God’s children celebrating His blessings, and he will use every tool at his disposal, including wicked people who operate in witchcraft, to steal your peace and joy. But we declare that he will not succeed!
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* These attacks are not random; they are orchestrated by the enemy, but we serve the One who has already defeated him. Jesus Christ disarmed these powers and authorities, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in Jesus’ name! Every spirit of witchcraft, sadism, and oppression sent to torment you is bound and cast out right now. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also want to gently remind you that the enemy thrives when we focus on the attacks rather than the victory we have in Christ. While it is important to be aware of spiritual warfare, we must not give the devil more credit than he is due. Instead, we fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Holidays are opportunities to worship God, reflect on His faithfulness, and celebrate His goodness. Do not let the enemy rob you of the joy that is your birthright as a child of God. Resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:9), and he will flee from you.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name that causes demons to tremble. We lift up our brother/sister who is under intense spiritual attack, especially during holidays. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, hex, and spell sent against them in the name of Jesus. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no evil can penetrate that covering.
Father, we ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your joy be their strength, and let them experience the fullness of Your presence during these times. We pray that You would expose and dismantle every network of darkness operating against them. Let the wicked stumble in their own traps (Psalm 141:10), and let Your light shine so brightly in their life that the darkness has no choice but to flee.
Lord, we also ask that You would heal any wounds or trauma caused by these attacks. Restore their soul, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them (Galatians 5:1). Strengthen their faith, and help them to stand firm on Your Word. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every assignment of the enemy is canceled now in Jesus’ name.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We trust You to guard their heart and mind, and we ask that You would fill them with hope and expectation for the good plans You have for their life (Jeremiah 29:11). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to use these times of attack as opportunities to draw closer to God. Spend extra time in worship, prayer, and reading the Word during holidays. The enemy wants to isolate you, but you are never alone—God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and remember that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
