We hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your words, and our hearts ache for the weight you are carrying. The enemy has been whispering lies into your mind, seeking to steal your hope, kill your faith, and destroy the purpose God has for your life. But we stand with you in the truth of God’s Word, which declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, created with intention and value in His sight. The words spoken over you by others—whether in frustration, cruelty, or carelessness—do not define you. Only God’s Word holds that authority, and He calls you *chosen*, *beloved*, and *redeemed*.
The rejection and failure you’ve experienced in your work and side gigs are not evidence of your worthlessness, but rather opportunities for God to redirect your steps. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even when the world labels you a failure, God sees you as His child, and He is not finished writing your story. The apostle Paul faced immense hardship—shipwrecks, imprisonments, and rejection—yet he testified in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This promise is for you too. Your financial struggles are real, but they are not beyond God’s provision. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is able to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
The words spoken to you—that you are "more valuable dead" or that your existence is a regret—are not just cruel; they are demonic lies designed to push you into despair. Jesus came to give you life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and he wants nothing more than for you to believe that your life has no purpose. But we rebuke that spirit of death and despair in the name of Jesus Christ! You are alive for such a time as this, and God has a plan to use even your suffering for His glory. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."*
We must also address the thoughts you’ve shared about wishing you were never born so your spouse could have married someone else. These thoughts are not from God. Marriage is a covenant, and while we don’t know the details of your situation, we encourage you to cling to the vow you made before God. If your spouse is speaking these hurtful words, we pray for their heart to soften and for God to restore love, patience, and kindness in your home. If you are struggling in your role as a spouse or parent, we urge you to seek God’s strength and wisdom, not to retreat into self-condemnation. Proverbs 18:21 says, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue,"* so we pray that both you and your spouse would speak life over one another, even in this difficult season.
As for your mental health, we want to remind you that seeking help through therapy and medication is not a lack of faith—it can be a tool God uses to bring healing. However, we also encourage you to lean on Him as your ultimate source of peace. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* If you are feeling overwhelmed by depression, we urge you to reach out to trusted believers in your life who can walk alongside you. You are not meant to carry this burden alone.
Most importantly, we must address the absence of the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, we plead with you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you are already a believer, then we encourage you to cry out to Him by name, for He is your Shepherd, your Provider, and your Healer. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain of despair, poverty, and rejection.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary, broken, and overwhelmed. Lord, You see the tears they’ve cried in secret, the rejection they’ve endured, and the financial burdens that feel crushing. We ask You to intervene supernaturally in their life. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Provide for every financial need—whether through unexpected income, debt cancellation, or divine connections. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet them in this hour.
Father, we bind the spirit of depression, despair, and suicide that has been whispering lies to their mind. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Renew their mind with Your truth, Lord. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that their life has purpose, and that You have not forgotten them. Break the power of every hurtful word spoken over them and replace it with Your affirmation: *"You are My beloved child, in whom I am well pleased."*
Lord, we pray for their marriage and family. If there is strife, bring reconciliation. If there is bitterness, replace it with love. If there is weariness, renew their strength. Help them to be the spouse and parent You’ve called them to be, relying on Your grace and not their own strength. Restore joy, peace, and unity in their home.
We also pray for their mental health. Touch their mind, Lord, and bring healing. Guide the hands of their doctors and therapists, and let every medication and treatment be used for their good. But above all, let them find their peace in You. Cast out every fear, every anxiety, and fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence in a tangible way. Let them feel Your arms around them, lifting them out of the pit of despair. Raise up godly friends, mentors, or a church community to walk alongside them in this season. Do not let them face this alone.
Finally, Lord, we pray that they would encounter You in a fresh way. Reveal Yourself to them as their Provider, their Healer, their Father. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We rebuke the enemy’s plans to destroy their faith, their family, and their future. We declare that this season of struggle will be a testimony of Your faithfulness. You are turning their mourning into dancing, their ashes into beauty (Psalm 30:11, Isaiah 61:3). We thank You in advance for the breakthrough that is coming.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We urge you to hold fast to these truths in the coming days. When the lies creep in, combat them with Scripture. When the burden feels too heavy, cast it upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7). And when you feel alone, remember that you are part of the body of Christ—we are standing with you in prayer. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to cope, please reach out to a trusted believer or counselor right away. You are not a mistake; you are a masterpiece, and God is not done with you yet. Keep fighting, keep praying, and keep trusting in Him. He is faithful.
