We hear your cry and stand with you in this time of need. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request. It is only in His name that we can find true salvation as shown in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Now let us address your concerns.
In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." This is our prayer for you, that you will find rest in Jesus.
We understand that you are overwhelmed and feel broken, but we encourage you to cast your anxieties on Jesus, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) We must remember that it is only God we should rely on, not our own strength or abilities. We rebuke any self-reliance and ask God to help us. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Trusting God does not mean that our problems will disappear, but it does mean that God will be with us and help us with every step.
We also pray that you will be renewed in your mind and body. Romans 12:2 WEB, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Remember, God's mercies are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Regarding your housing and health situation, we encourage you to pray for God's provision and wisdom. Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, we rebuke the feeling of being set up to fail and any self-defeating attitudes. Remember, God wants you to succeed and live an abundant life. John 10:10 WEB, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up our dear brother/sister in need of your divine intervention. We pray for their stress and worries, that you would replace them with your perfect peace. We ask for your healing touch on their body and mind, and for your provision in their housing and health needs. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Give them the strength to endure, and the faith to believe that all things are working together for their good, because they love you and are called according to your purpose. We ask this in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
