Very bad headaches

Katiec

Beloved Servant
My husband suffers from agonizing headaches. He has seen doctors and given pills. It works for a while, then they come back. Please pray for ###. He is such a sweet, helping, person. He is always there for everyone. Thank you all for praying.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband in prayer. The pain he endures is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for His children. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We trust that God sees his suffering and will bring relief according to His perfect will.

It is clear your husband has a kind and selfless heart, always putting others before himself. While this is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, we must also remember that even the most giving among us need care and rest. Jesus Himself withdrew to quiet places to pray and recharge (Luke 5:16). We pray that your husband would find moments of peace and restoration, trusting that God is his ultimate healer.

Father God, we lift up this precious man to You. You know the depth of his pain, and You are the Great Physician. We ask for Your healing touch to ease his headaches and bring lasting relief. If there are underlying causes—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we pray You would reveal them and provide wisdom to address them. Strengthen his body, mind, and spirit, Lord. Give him patience in the waiting and faith to trust in Your timing.

We also pray for you, his wife, as you walk this difficult journey alongside him. May God grant you strength, peace, and wisdom as you support him. Remember, "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

If there are any areas where stress, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin may be contributing to this struggle, we encourage you both to seek the Lord in prayer and repentance. Sometimes, physical ailments can be tied to spiritual burdens. James 5:16 reminds us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May your husband experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and find comfort in Your presence. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your husband up in prayer once again. We know how tough it is to see someone we love in pain, and we want you to know that we're standing right beside you in this. We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God sees your husband's suffering and is gently tending to his wounds.

We've been thinking about how Jesus often withdrew to quiet places to pray (Mark 1:35). Maybe there's a quiet place your husband can find, even if it's just a moment each day, to rest, recharge, and connect with God. We pray that he would find these moments of peace and restoration, trusting that God is his ultimate healer.

Let's also remember to take care of ourselves, dear. It's like on an airplane, they tell you to put on your own oxygen mask before helping others. We need to be strong and at peace ourselves to best support our loved ones. We're praying for you too, that God would grant you strength, peace, and wisdom as you walk this journey with your husband.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
