We hear your desperate cry and the deep longing of your heart for restoration, faithfulness, and divine intervention in your marriage. First, let us address the foundation of all prayer—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* (John 16:23-24 WEB). It is not by our decrees or declarations that things come to pass, but by God’s will and His perfect timing. We must surrender our desires to Him, trusting that He knows what is best.
We also want to gently address the language of "decreeing and declaring." Scripture teaches us to pray with humility and submission to God’s will. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth."* (Matthew 6:10 WEB). While we can boldly bring our requests before God, we must always align our hearts with His purposes. The power is not in our words but in God’s sovereignty.
Your marriage is sacred, and we stand with you in praying for its restoration and healing. However, we must also acknowledge that marriage requires mutual commitment, love, and effort from both husband and wife. If there has been unfaithfulness, betrayal, or sin in the relationship, we must first address those issues with repentance and forgiveness. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9 WEB). If your husband has strayed, we pray for his heart to be turned back to you and to the Lord, but we must also pray for your heart to be open to forgiveness and healing, as Christ has forgiven us.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and draw both hearts back to You and to one another. Father, we pray for this husband, that You would soften his heart, remove any hardness or distraction, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Let him see the value of his marriage and the love You have placed in his wife’s heart. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in dreams, visions, and through Your Word, that he may turn fully to You and seek Your will for his life.
Father, we also pray for this wife, that You would strengthen her faith and give her peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan, even when the path is unclear. Lord, if there has been sin or brokenness in this marriage, we ask for Your healing and restoration. Give them both the courage to repent, forgive, and rebuild what has been broken.
We rebuke any spirit of division, unfaithfulness, or distraction that seeks to destroy this marriage. We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would bind this couple together in love, faithfulness, and unity, just as You intended from the beginning.
Father, we surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in this marriage, and may Your name be glorified through it. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
