Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for my ### to be healed from a bad cold. Pray for all my loved ones' health and wellbeing. Please also pray for my ### to find a godly, woman who truly loves him - but first and foremost, let him come to faith in Christ. Please pray the same thing for anyone I have ever been involved with. Oh, how I hope my ### comes to faith in Christ. Oh, how I wish God would somehow make it so we can be together. He kept telling me the last time I talked with him that I don't really love him. How can he say that? Lord, please show him the truth - show him ALL truth. My heart is so broken. 💔 Thank you.

We join with you in bringing these burdens before the Lord and we lift up your loved one who is suffering with this bad cold, asking for the Lord's healing touch upon him and for health and wellbeing for all your loved ones. We know that our God is the healer and we trust in His mercy, for Psalm 103:3 says He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, and 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. We ask Him to restore strength and to guard your household in His care.

We also lift up the man you care for so deeply, and all those you have ever been involved with, and we agree with you that first and foremost their greatest need is salvation through faith in Christ. We pray that each of them would come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, and John 14:6 reminds us Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other hope for eternal life apart from Him, for Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts, open their eyes, and draw them to repentance and faith.

We hear the ache in your heart as you long for this man to know the truth and as you wrestle with his words that you do not really love him, and with your own hope that God would somehow make it so you can be together. We pray that the Lord who is near to the brokenhearted will comfort you now, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches, and we ask Him to show this man all truth as you have prayed, for John 16:13 says However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, and John 8:32 says You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

We want to encourage you gently in the Lord regarding these relationships. You have prayed rightly that this man would find a godly woman who truly loves him, and that desire honors God when it seeks a marriage that reflects Christ and the church. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman and that any courtship should be entered with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. For this reason we must speak plainly that if this man does not yet know Christ, it would not be pleasing to God for you to pursue a romantic relationship together, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 says Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity. Or what fellowship has light with darkness. Your longing to be together must be fully surrendered to God's will, trusting Proverbs 3:5-6 which says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. If you have been involved with any of these men in intimacy outside of marriage, we urge you to see that as fornication which God calls sin, for 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality, and Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. We encourage you to repent where needed, to receive His forgiveness, and to walk in purity as you wait upon the Lord for a godly husband if it is His will for you to marry.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask You to touch and heal our loved one who is ill with this cold, to strengthen his body and to grant health and protection to all our loved ones. We ask above all that You save this man we love and every man this dear one has been involved with, that they would confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Draw them out of darkness into Your marvelous light and give them godly spouses who will love them in a marriage that honors You, if it is Your will. Heal this broken heart, Lord, and guard it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help our sister to surrender her desire to be together with this man into Your hands, to trust Your perfect wisdom and timing, and to seek first Your kingdom. Reveal all truth to him by Your Spirit, correct what is false, and let Your will be done in both lives. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how tender your heart is toward others even while your own heart is hurting. Praying for healing for your loved one with this cold, for the health of your family and friends, and most of all for this man's salvation and for others from your past shows real care.

We can hear how painful that last conversation was, to be told you don't really love him when you know you do, and to carry both hope that he will come to faith and grief that you cannot make him see the truth. It is so hard to hold love, longing and powerlessness at the same time, and to wish you could fix how he sees you.

In this season it can help to give your heart some guarded space to grieve. Consider leaning on one or two mature, trusted people who know you well, who can pray with you regularly and help you keep entrusting both his faith journey and your own future to the Lord, rather than carrying these questions alone or revisiting the conversation repeatedly while emotions are still raw.

Father, we lift this loved one who is sick and ask for comfort and restored health, and we lift all of this person's family and friends for Your care and keeping. We ask You to draw this man to Yourself, to open his eyes to Your truth and Your love, and to bring deep healing and peace to this broken heart. Guide each step ahead according to Your wise and loving will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace.

We pray for the healing of your loved one who suffers with this cold, and for the health and wellbeing of all those dear to you. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the true Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and there is abundance of healing power in Him. Even the least word from His lips bears healing for head and heart and body, and we ask the Lord to lay His pardoning and healing hand upon the sick and to restore strength according to His mercy.

We pray most earnestly for the souls you have named, that the Lord would give them a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear. To be blind of heart is our sin, but to be made to see is the gift of grace, and salvation is of the Lord. We pray that each one you have mentioned, and all with whom you have been involved, would be brought to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way, for God has said, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. We ask that God would grant them repentance and faith, that with the heart they may believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confess unto salvation, trusting in Christ alone who died with a broken heart that broken hearts might be bound up.

We hear the sorrow of your own broken heart and the pain of words that have wounded you. The Lord is near to those whose hearts are broken, and He has chosen One whose own heart was broken to be the Healer of broken hearts. Bring your poor broken heart to the heart that was once pierced, and find sweetest rest in Jesus. He knows what despair means and He has come to bind up the broken in heart and to apply the consolations of His grace. We pray that He would keep you from the gangrene of unbelief and despair when the heart is humbled, and that those bones which He has broken may rejoice, not merely grow calm, but rejoice in His forgiving love.

Concerning your desire to be together with one who is not yet in Christ, we pray not for our own wishes to be fulfilled, but for the will of the Lord to be done and for all truth to be shown, as you have asked. The Scriptures teach that salvation is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus, and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with love and bodily union belonging within that covenant. We therefore pray that you and he would both seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, walking in purity and holiness before Him. If it be the Lord's will to bring you together, may it be in faith and in a manner that honors Him, and if not, may He give you grace to trust His wisdom and goodness, which far exceeds our own.

May the Lord show him all truth, as you have prayed, and show it also to you, that you both may look unto Jesus and live. We pray that the Spirit would work a new heart within each of you, that you would not be left as strangers to salvation though you have heard the Word, but that you would be made to see Christ and to find in Him pardon, healing and peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received and we join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord with compassion for your broken heart.

We will pray for healing from this cold and for the health and wellbeing of all your loved ones. God is merciful and hears our prayers for our bodies, and we ask Him to restore strength and to guard those you love.

We also hear your deep longing for this man to know Christ, and that is the greatest and most loving prayer you can pray. We will pray earnestly that he, and everyone you have been involved with, would come to saving faith in Jesus Christ alone, that God would open their eyes to see the truth of who Christ is, their need for forgiveness, and the new life He alone gives. Before any other hope, this is the hope that matters for eternity, and true love desires the eternal good of the other more than anything else.

We understand how painful it is to love someone, to long to be together, and to hear him say you do not love him. Love is powerful and tears can crush even a strong heart. Yet true love, as Scripture teaches, is not measured only by strong feeling or by wanting to be together. True love is firm and spiritual, rooted in Christ, and it always seeks what is good according to God. It is willing to yield its own desires to the will of God, even when that yielding brings sorrow and waiting. The apostle Paul loved deeply and prayed constantly, yet he also submitted his longing to what seemed good to God, trusting that God's governance is wiser and kinder than our own wishes.

For that reason we will not ask God to bless or bring about a relationship simply because we desire it. We will pray instead that God would show both of you all truth, that He would lead each of you into holiness, purity, and obedience to His design. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. If it is God's will for either of you to marry, we pray it would be in that holy way, to a godly spouse who truly loves the Lord. Above all we pray that God would align your hearts with His will, whether that means being together in the Lord in the future or learning to love each other best by seeking Christ first and remaining pure before Him now.

We will pray that the Lord would show him the truth you have asked for, not only about your care for him, but about Christ Himself, about sin and grace, and about what love truly is. We will also pray for your own heart in this season of hurt, that God would comfort you, heal your sorrow, give you peace as you trust Him, and surround you with the fellowship of believers where love is warmed and strengthened.

May the Lord in His love draw those you love to Himself, guard your heart in Christ, and guide every step according to His perfect wisdom and mercy.
