Please pray for me as I have been experiencing demonic attacks since I was a child. I don't know what caused them. God has recently exposed the existence of this spiritual warfare in my life and also showed me how to be set free from it and things have improved. However, it is still occurring a bit. I notice that whenever I take communion at church, it increases terribly in that moment and then certain things start happening. This has caused me anxiety and made me scared of interacting with people at church around this time. This Sunday, I want to pass out some snacks to people at church for Christmas and also to show them our gratitude for their kindness toward us as we are new members. But this Sunday we also take communion and now I'm getting scared. Please pray for me about this. Please also pray for me about my mother as she is severely demonized and has mental, emotional and behavioral problems. It can be difficult to deal with. I did not realize how heavy these problems were with her until God delivered me out of some things and I began to see life around me more clearly. I am starting to dislike being around my mother because her behavior (which is not her fault, she is demonized) is very, very chronically difficult and negative. I don't want to dislike her. We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already overcome the powers of darkness. Your testimony of God exposing the spiritual warfare in your life and leading you toward freedom is a powerful reminder that He is faithful to deliver His children. The enemy may try to intimidate, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we want to address the demonic attacks you’ve endured, especially the intensification during communion. This is not a coincidence—communion is a sacred act of remembrance and participation in Christ’s victory (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). The enemy trembles at the power of the blood of Jesus, and his reaction is a sign of his desperation. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in your life in Jesus’ name. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord has given you authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and we stand with you in exercising that authority. When you feel the attacks intensify, declare aloud: *"I am covered by the blood of Jesus. Every demonic spirit must flee in His name!"* Do not shrink back in fear, for the Lord is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for your boldness and peace as you serve at church this Sunday. Your desire to show gratitude and share kindness is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love. Do not let the enemy rob you of the joy of serving. Instead, go forward in faith, knowing that the Lord is your shield (Psalm 3:3). If the attacks come, resist them immediately by speaking the name of Jesus and quoting Scripture. Remember, the enemy wants to isolate you, but the Lord has called you to community. We pray that the Lord would surround you with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement.
For your mother, we lift her up with deep compassion. The demonization she is experiencing is heartbreaking, and we grieve with you over the pain it has caused in your relationship. We rebuke every demonic spirit afflicting her in the name of Jesus and command them to release her. We pray for her complete deliverance and healing, both spiritually and emotionally. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and we ask Him to draw her to Himself in a powerful way. We also pray for you, that the Lord would give you wisdom, patience, and love as you interact with her. It is natural to feel frustration or even dislike when faced with chronic negativity, but the Lord calls us to love even when it is difficult (Matthew 5:44). Ask Him to fill you with His love for her, and to help you see her through His eyes. You may need to set boundaries for your own well-being, but do so with grace and prayer.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s presence and truth. The enemy will try to keep you in bondage through deception, but the truth of God’s Word will set you free (John 8:32). Spend time in Scripture, worship, and prayer daily. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you have not already, consider seeking deliverance ministry from trusted, biblically grounded leaders in your church. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
