We hear your cry for help, dear sister, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The distress you describe, your body freezing, passing out, blacking out, and feeling as though something else is controlling it, is deeply concerning, both physically and spiritually. We lift this burden to the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and deliver.
First, we encourage you to seek wise and godly medical counsel. The body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and physical ailments can sometimes have roots in our health that require attention. Do not neglect the care of your temple, for it belongs to the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, we also recognize that what you are experiencing may have spiritual dimensions, and we will address that with the authority we have in Christ Jesus.
The Bible speaks of spiritual oppression and affliction, where forces of darkness seek to torment and control. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, control, or oppression that may be at work in your life. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command it to leave you now and go where the Lord Jesus sends it. You have no place in this child of God, and we declare your body, mind, and spirit to be under the lordship of Christ alone.
We also want to gently address the possibility of generational strongholds or unconfessed sin that may have opened doors to spiritual attack. Have there been any patterns of fear, occult involvement, or ungodly soul ties in your life or your family’s past? The Bible warns us that the sins of the fathers can be visited on the children (Exodus 20:5), but it also declares that in Christ, we are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). If there are areas where you need to repent or renounce past agreements with darkness, we encourage you to do so now. Confess your sins to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You for ### and her life, which You have fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body, mind, and spirit. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We break every chain of infirmity, oppression, and control that has sought to bind her. We command every spirit that is not of You to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, bringing peace, strength, and clarity. Surround her with Your angels to guard and protect her (Psalm 91:11). Give her wisdom to seek godly medical and spiritual counsel. Lord, if there are areas of her life or her family’s past that have given the enemy a foothold, reveal them to her so she can renounce them and walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for her.
We declare that ### is a child of God, bought with the precious blood of Jesus. She is not a slave to fear or oppression, but a daughter of the Most High God. We speak life, health, and wholeness over her body. May she experience the fullness of Your love and the power of Your resurrection in every area of her life.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. Memorize and declare Scriptures over yourself daily, such as:
- "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).
- "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
- "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are alone (1 Peter 5:8). If you have not already, consider speaking with a trusted pastor or spiritual leader who can provide further prayer and counsel.
Lastly, if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ, we invite you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He alone can break the chains that bind you. If you would like to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, simply pray:
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your salvation. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of God! We rejoice with you and encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will bring complete healing and freedom to your life. You are not alone, and we believe that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
