Utter evil, hard hearts, lack of remorse, psychopathy

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after two months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over this grave injustice. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and blatant disregard for human life displayed by these individuals is not only morally reprehensible but a direct violation of God’s commandments. Scripture is clear: "Do not exploit the poor because they are poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life" (Proverbs 22:22-23). The fact that they would falsify reports, ignore documented harm, and even threaten eviction in the face of life-threatening conditions reveals a heart in desperate need of repentance.

We rebuke the spirit of deception, greed, and callousness operating in this situation. Jesus said, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith" (Matthew 23:23). These individuals have abandoned justice, mercy, and basic human decency. We declare that their schemes will not stand, and their hardness will be broken. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6).

We also lift up the lawyer involved in this matter. The words used, equating "comfort" with a life-threatening issue, reveal a deeply disturbed conscience. Scripture warns, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12). We pray that the Holy Spirit convicts her of the gravity of her actions and that she turns from this path of destruction. May she come to know the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

For you, we pray protection, justice, and provision. The Lord sees your suffering and will not abandon you. "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears; He delivers them from all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17). We ask that God softens the hearts of those responsible, that they may repent, apologize, and make restitution. If they refuse, we trust that the Lord will execute justice on your behalf. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19).

We also pray for your emotional and physical healing. The trauma you’ve endured is real, and we ask that God restores your peace and strength. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). May you find refuge in Him as you navigate this difficult season.

Finally, we declare that this situation will be turned around for your good. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). May these individuals face the consequences of their actions, not out of mere punishment, but that they may be brought to repentance and salvation. May their hearts be broken by the Holy Spirit, leading them to genuine remorse and change.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray:
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the injustice and evil in this situation. We ask that You expose every lie, every deception, and every ungodly motive at work here. Break the hardness of heart in these individuals, Lord. Let them see the severity of their actions and turn from their wicked ways. Soften their hearts to repentance, that they may seek Your forgiveness and make amends.

We pray for justice, Lord. You are a God who defends the oppressed and upholds the cause of the afflicted. Act on behalf of Your child, who has been wronged and endangered. Provide a way out of this situation, and let restitution be made where it is due. Protect them from further harm, both physically and emotionally.

We also pray for salvation, Father. May these individuals come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Let the conviction of the Holy Spirit lead them to repentance, that they may be saved from eternal destruction. Use this situation, as painful as it is, to draw them to Yourself.

For our brother/sister in Christ, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Heal their wounds, restore their strength, and provide for their needs. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are fighting for them.

We trust in Your justice, Your mercy, and Your sovereignty. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your words, and the cruelty you’ve endured is staggering. When those who should protect your safety instead demand fees and dismiss your very real physical harm, it drains more than just energy, it can make your own heart grow heavy and tired. You’ve shown them evidence; you’ve carried the wounds and the reports, and still they harden themselves. That is a bitter weight to carry alone.

So we want to gently encourage you not to carry it alone in the practical sense either. If you haven’t already, would you consider reaching out to a local church leader or a Christian community center? Sometimes having even one advocate who can stand with you, whether that’s helping you navigate the legal threats, finding stable housing, or simply being a steady human presence, removes just enough of the burden that you can breathe again. In the Psalms we see over and over that God draws near to the crushed in spirit, and often He sends other people to bear His presence. You deserve that kind of tangible support right now.

We also want to affirm that what you’ve asked for in prayer is good and right. It is not wrong to long for hearts to break open in remorse, for amends to be made, for those who lie and threaten to face the reality of what they’ve done. You are not bitter for bringing that before God. We join you in praying that whatever has twisted their hearts would give way to a real, deep repentance, but even if they never soften, God sees you, and He is no stranger to unjust suffering.

As we pray, we remember that Jesus himself was threatened, falsely accused, and stripped of comfort, and His response was to entrust Himself to the One who judges justly. So we entrust you to Him now.

Lord Jesus, we come with our sister in her exhaustion and pain. You know exactly what she suffered in that shower, and the bruises that go deeper than skin. Wrap her in Your sheltering presence tonight. Give her wisdom for the road ahead, and if it be Your will, turn the hearts of those who have harmed her. Bring whatever human help she needs, a pastor, a lawyer, a safe home, and make a way where there seems to be none. Silence the threats that keep her awake. Let her feel in her bones that she is not forgotten. We ask this in Your name, amen.

It is a fearful thing when men and women become so callous that they can look upon the wounds of others and feel no pang of pity. That they can demand a false report, threaten the injured, and call life-threatening peril a mere matter of comfort, this betrays a heart not merely hard, but petrified. Our blessed Lord once looked round about on men with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts. His anger had no taint of malevolence; it was love on fire against that which is unlovely. Even so, we may be righteously indignant at such cruel dealings, yet we must pray that the offenders be not given over to that insensible, impenetrable, inflexible state which is worse than death.

You ask for prayer for their hearts of stone to become hearts of flesh. This is precisely the work of sovereign grace. None but the Holy Spirit can take away the stony heart and give a heart of soft, impressionable flesh. It is not in man to repent by his own strength; the cry for a new heart is itself the proof that the new heart has begun its beat. We are driven to pray because we know that God alone can work this miracle. And He can! He who turns the king's heart as rivers of water can turn the landlord, the lawyer, and the electrician from their sadistic course. Continue to pray in the mighty name of Jesus, for prayer moves the arm that moves the world.

But remember also the nature of true repentance. It is not enough that they should be sorry merely because judgments have come upon them, or that they should feel a passing twinge of remorse. Judas had remorse, bitter enough to drive him to the halter, but it gave no glory to God because there was no faith, no submission, no love. The repentance that is unto life is a deep, practical, abiding thing that ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ as sole Master. It yields works meet for repentance: apology, restitution, a turning from unscrupulous behavior. We must pray not only that they be sorry, but that they behold the goodness of God which leads to repentance, that the long-suffering of the Lord toward them might melt their hardness.

For yourself, dear friend, let not this bitter trial poison your own soul. You have been wounded in your body and wounded in your spirit by their callous words. But recall that the heart is the vital place. No mere outward religion will sustain you now; you need the oil of grace poured into those gashes. You have been pricked in your heart by their cruelty; let that prick drive you deeper into the fellowship of the Man of Sorrows, who was despised and rejected. He knows what it is to be lied about, to be threatened, to be denied justice. In all your affliction He is afflicted. And He will, in due time, vindicate the righteous.

Do not think that you must manufacture a perfect repentance in those who wronged you as a condition of your forgiveness toward them. We are to forgive as we have been forgiven, freely, fully, from the heart. And while you may yearn to see the fruits of repentance in their lives, leave the timing and the work to God. The broken heart is never a divided heart; let your own heart be whole before the Lord, trusting His justice and His mercy. Though they threaten eviction and legal action, He who holds the judge’s heart is your Defender. Though they refuse payment, He is your Provider. The goodness of God to you, that you have a heart that can feel and grieve and pray, is itself a token that you are not left to hardness.

Pray for them with all the more intensity because they are to be pitied more than you. A man who can inflict pain without remorse is already in a hell of his own making, however much he is surrounded by earthly comfort. Their house may be without prayer, yet no fire has consumed it; but a day of reckoning comes when the goodness they spurned will testify against them. Plead that before that day comes, they may be pricked in their heart, that the sword of the Spirit may do its saving surgery, and that the very thoughts they now most despise, repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, may be granted to them.

Till then, walk in practical repentance yourself. Prove what is that good and acceptable will of God. Let your own heart be tender, your own words be free of bitterness, your own actions be marked by the charity that covers a multitude of sins. And when you have mourned over their state, remember that sweet Sister Repentance is always lovely company. It is no mark of weakness to weep over sin, your own and others’. The Lord shall send comfort to those who mourn, and He shall yet cause the dry Sahara of the wicked to spring with living waters. Even if they never repent, your own soul may rest in the full and free forgiveness that is in Christ Jesus for all who trust Him. There is now no condemnation for you, and no just cause for despair. Trust in Him, and wait patiently. The God who granted repentance to the Gentiles can grant it to your enemies. He who gave you a heart to cry for them will not be deaf to your cries.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What you describe is a frightening display of a seared conscience. When men call life-threatening danger a mere lack of "comfort," they reveal a judgment already at work within them. The unrighteous soul is its own worst enemy, more bitter than any external affliction. Has it not a conscience that scourges and gnaws from within? No one can flee that internal judge. They may block communication, forge reports, and threaten legal action, but they cannot silence the unbribed tribunal God has planted in the mind. Unless they repent, that worm will never die.

Yet we must distinguish true repentance from false. Tears and words are not always proof of a changed heart. Esau wept bitterly, but found no place of repentance because his grief was worldly sorrow over lost blessings, not godly sorrow over the sin itself. Judas felt remorse after his betrayal was complete, condemned the deed, and threw down the silver. These things were acceptable, but he then hanged himself, a work of the evil spirit. The devil led him out of repentance too soon, so he reaped no fruit. This is the danger for those who harden themselves: when conviction stirs, despair or defiance rushes in to choke it.

Pray therefore that their sorrow would be the kind that works repentance unto salvation, a repentance that brings no regret. Not the sorrow that merely hates consequences, but the sorrow that hates the evil itself and turns to God for cleansing. Only He can take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. The Church is a spiritual bath that wipes away not filth of body but stains of soul, by its many methods of repentance. For one who has come to the very depth of wickedness, repentance still has great force; it is able to set free from the burden of sins and establish in safety.

Do not, however, let their injustice poison your own soul. There is a great bitterness in practicing injustice, greater than in suffering it. Their uneasy slumbers, their acidic anxiety, their need to fake reports and threaten those they have wounded, all these testify that they already live in a prison of their own making. If you let this fester into hatred or vindictive obsession, you grant them power to wound you twice. Go instead to places of wholesome delight, to the coffins of martyrs, to quiet gardens and flowing rivers, to the prayers of the Church. Let the Sweet Physician tend the wounds they inflicted, so that your soul finds refreshment and no remorse after the pleasure. God sees. The Judge stands at the door.

It is deeply troubling to read what you have endured, not just the danger to your body but the callous disregard you have faced from those who should have been swift to make things right. When people lack the fear of God, they inevitably lose respect for their fellow human beings. The refusal to acknowledge the wrong, the manipulation of reports, and the threatening words all reveal hearts that are far from Him. Your cry for justice is not about personal revenge; you are asking that what is right be done, that the oppressed be heard, and that those who act with cruelty be brought to a place of accountability and change.

Persistent prayer in a situation like this is never wasted. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous heart truly accomplishes much. When you keep bringing this before the Lord, you are not informing Him of something He does not already see. Prayer opens the door for God to act directly in ways He will not force upon anyone. It invites His justice and His mercy into a tangled mess of hardened wills. You can boldly ask Him to break the hardness of their hearts, to replace their heart of stone with a heart of flesh, and to visit them with a deep, convicting awareness of their sin. That kind of prayer is an act of faith that God can do what seems impossible to us.

At the same time, we must remember that the one prayer God waits to hear from those who do not know Him is, “God be merciful to me, a sinner.” Until the Holy Spirit brings that cry from their lips, they will continue to grasp after whatever they trust in, whether money, control, or their own version of events. Jesus Himself said how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom. So pray that their false securities fail them in a way that leads not to greater bitterness, but to a desperate turning toward the Lord. Pray that they would hear His call in this very conflict, and that genuine remorse would bear the fruit of a full apology and just compensation.

While you wait for that answer, do not let the delay cause you to waver. God sometimes tarries for reasons we cannot immediately understand, but there is always a purpose. In the waiting, He is also working in your own life, strengthening your perseverance and deepening your dependence on Him. The prayers you have already offered have not fallen to the ground. Keep laboring fervently in prayer, watching for what God will do. He sees the truth, He knows the wounds, and He will fight for you. Do not let their callous words lodge in your spirit as lasting damage; entrust this to the Lord who judges righteously. May you soon see a turnaround that testifies to His power over the stoniest of hearts.

We are deeply moved by your situation and have been lifting you up in prayer these past days, standing in agreement with you against the hardness of heart and lack of remorse you’ve encountered. This burden is heavy, and we have prayed earnestly that the Lord would break through the walls of indifference and bring conviction where there has been none. We have asked Him to soften hearts, open eyes to the truth, and bring about justice in a way that only He can.

We continue to pray that those responsible would be gripped by the Holy Spirit, that their consciences would be stirred, and that they would turn from their unscrupulous ways. May the Lord intervene in this life-threatening situation, exposing deception and bringing accountability. We ask Him to protect you from further harm, to provide you with safe shelter, and to move mightily on your behalf—whether through restitution, repentance, or divine intervention.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation, we would be so grateful to hear a praise report. If not, we stand ready to continue interceding with you. Please know that we will not stop praying until we see God’s justice and mercy prevail. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, believing that He is able to turn even the hardest of hearts toward righteousness. May He bless you with His peace, provision, and presence as you trust in Him.
