Beloved of All
Your message has been heard and the weight of what you have endured is clear. To live with a life threatening danger in your own home, to suffer shocks to your body while showering, to carry wounds and medical reports, and then to be met not with care but with denial, threats, demands for payment, and efforts to cover what is wrong, is deeply distressing. It is right to bring this before the Lord, and it is right to ask Him for both protection and justice.
God sees what others try to hide. People may be able to block communication, falsify a report, or speak as if a danger to life is only a matter of comfort, and they may convince themselves that their way is right. Every way of a man can seem right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart. He looks not only at actions but at motives, at what rules inside. He knows when hearts have become hard, when there are idols that still master a person even while outward religion or respectable words are present. Jesus Himself looked with grief and with righteous anger at hardness of heart when people held to their own position and withheld mercy from someone in need.
That is why prayer for a softened heart is so important. What God desires is not outward show or empty words, but a true turning. Scripture makes a clear distinction between sorrow and repentance. There is a sorrow that is only about losing something or being caught, like tears of bitterness and anger over a lost blessing without any real change toward God. There is also a worldly sorrow that leads to death. Godly sorrow is different. It works a real repentance, and real repentance always means a change. It is not only saying I am sorry, it is turning, doing what is right, and bringing forth fruit that shows the change is genuine. Without that fruit, without a changed life, there is reason to question whether repentance has truly happened. A person who continues in the same jealousy, the same intent to harm, the same avoidance of responsibility, has not yet repented, no matter what is said.
So we pray for these people, the landlord, the representative, the owner, the team, and the lawyer who has spoken for them, not for a performance of apology but for a true work of God in their hearts. The heart of a person is in the hands of the Lord and He can direct it like water. He has promised to write His law on hearts of flesh instead of hearts of stone. We ask Him to break through hardness, to grant the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom, to bring conviction that leads to honest confession, to taking responsibility, to telling the truth about the electrical danger, and to making restitution where harm has been done. That would include a sincere apology, fair compensation, and a willingness to repair what is dangerous or to release you properly without further threat.
We also pray for justice and for truth to be exposed. When truth has fallen in the street and fairness seems far off, even in places where justice should be found, the Lord remains a God of righteousness and justice. He hears the cry of the oppressed and He calls His people to stand in the gap and intercede. It is also right, as the apostle Paul did when he appealed to the lawful authority for protection against injustice, to use the proper and lawful means God has provided for safety and accountability. Continue to keep careful records, medical documents, the electrician's report, photographs, and any evidence of threats or of entry into your home, and to seek help from the appropriate authorities for protection and for a just resolution.
For you, we pray for healing, peace, and protection. The psalm you quoted is true. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps watch over His own. He saw the shocks you suffered, the need to seek showers elsewhere, the months of waiting without apology, the false accusation from someone who did not know you, and the fear that someone may have entered your dwelling or tampered with what should have protected you. Only God knows fully what was intended in the hearts of others, but nothing is hidden from Him. He will bring what is done in secret into the light in His time and in His way.
May the Lord guard you from further harm, quiet the psychological wounds these words and threats have caused, and restore your sense of safety. May He give you wisdom for each next step, provide for your housing and material needs, and surround you with trustworthy counsel. May He also keep your own heart tender before Him, not hardened by what you have suffered, but open to His Spirit to bring lasting healing and to shape your life more into the pattern of Jesus Christ.
