Father, we look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than the noise and pollution of the world, 1 Jn 2:15-16. Thank You for working in my life and hers, and for all that need Your guidance, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34. We agree with this husband, for spouse, children, PASTORS, family, friends, prayer and minister partners -- speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times: Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, Paul, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1. As little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of GOD can be thwarted,"Job 42:2. We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27.

Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your promise of incomprehensible peace, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20... Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

A Promise for Us and for Our Children
God’s promise to refresh and bless His people extends to their children, offering hope and renewal to all who trust Him.
Which Church?
Choose a church that saves your soul and your family’s, not the one that suits your taste.
The Lamp
God’s word lights every part of life and calls you to let it guide your steps in joy and sorrow.
We join you in this deep hunger for the Holy Spirit to speak clearly to you, to your wife, to your marriage, to your children, your pastors, your churches, your leaders and all your prayer and financial partners and their families, and we thank God for a heart that wants to hear from Him by every biblical means He has ordained.

We love your desire to be led by the Word first. As you quoted, To the law and to the testimony, If they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them Isaiah 8:20. That is the foundation. We are to love not the world, neither the things that are in the world 1 John 2:15, but to be saturated with Scripture, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ Romans 10:17 and Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path Psalm 119:105. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work 2 Tim 3:16-17. So while we rejoice that God in times past spoke in many ways, God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son Heb 1:1-2, we test every vision, dream, prophecy, counsel and even what we perceive as divine appointments against that sure Word, for we are told to not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1.

We affirm with you that God is still able to guide His people in extraordinary ways as He did with Joseph in Matt 1:20, with the magi being warned in a dream in Matt 2:12, with Abimelech in Gen 20:3, with Laban in Gen 31:24, and with others. For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed Job 33:14-15. And we hold to the promise that in the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams Acts 2:17 and as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God Rom 8:14 and My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27. At the same time we remember that such experiences must underline and never contradict His written Word, and that godly counsel is a safeguard, for where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14.

We also rejoice in your heart for marriage. We pray for you as a husband and for your wife, that your marriage would be a lifelong covenant that honors Christ, and that you would continue to seek Him together as one flesh, and for your children that they would be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We pray for your pastors and churches and even for government leaders, for we know there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Rom 13:1, and we are to pray for all those in authority that we may live quiet and peaceable lives.

We thank God with you that He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them Heb 7:25 and that Christ indeed intercedes for us Rom 8:34. We agree that with God all things are possible Mark 10:27 and that nothing spoken by God is impossible Luke 1:37 and that no purpose of Yours can be restrained Job 42:2 and that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5. Your arm is not shortened at all, that it cannot save Isa 59:1.

So together we pray.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace with humble confidence. We thank You that through Jesus we have access to You, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We ask that You would speak to this husband and his wife, to their children, to their pastors, churches, friends, leaders and partners and their families. Speak first and most clearly through Your Holy Bible, make it alive to us by Your Spirit, convict us of sin, of righteousness and of judgment as You promised John 16:8, and lead us into all truth.

If it pleases You, confirm Your Word through messages from the pulpit faithfully preached, through divine appointments, through godly counsel, through dreams and visions that align with Scripture, through prophecy that edifies according to Your Word, through the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit, through the Shepherd's voice, and even through signs in the heavens and signs of the times as You declare in Gen 1:14 and as You gave the star to the magi in Matt 2:2, but keep us from seeking signs as the faithless do, and keep us discerning like the children of Issachar who were men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do 1 Chron 12:32.

Father, keep us all from temptation, from evil, from wrongdoing, lies, fear, deception and from the evil one. We pray as Jesus taught us to pray, Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13 and we claim Your promise that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3 and that You will keep us from evil John 17:15. Guard our lips from lies Zeph 3:13, guard us from being led astray Matt 24:4, for the deceiver deceives the whole world Rev 12:9, and cause us to walk in truth and love.

We bring all these requests before You with thanksgiving, as You command, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We believe we have received what we ask according to Your will, for whatever things you will ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24. We trust You, for without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him Heb 11:6.

We thank You that every promise of God is Yes in Christ, therefore through him is the Amen, to the glory of God through us 2 Cor 1:20 and that Jesus is the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness Rev 3:14. Continue to work in this family, make their marriage strong in You, make their home a light, and let Your will be done in them as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and intercessor, Amen.

We hear the deep longing in your prayer for God to make His ways clear to you, your wife, and all those you named before Him, your children, pastors, partners and leaders. It is a beautiful thing to want to be led by Him in every area, and to invite Him into every ordinary and extraordinary moment.

We love that you are looking to His Word first and also asking for wisdom through trusted counsel and the quiet leading of His Spirit. When the desire for direction feels strong, we have found it steadying to keep those pieces together, letting what we sense in prayer or through impressions be weighed gently alongside what Scripture says and what wise, godly people around us confirm. That community check often brings the peace and clarity we are asking for.

Thank you for letting us stand with you. We are praying that the Lord will guard your home and church from confusion and fear, and draw each of you closer to Himself.

Father, we bring this husband and wife and all their loved ones to You. Make Your will known to them in a way they can understand and follow, give them humble and united hearts, and keep them in Your peace as they seek You. Lead them step by step in Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your longing that the Lord Himself should speak and guide is a gracious desire, and it is right that you turn to His Word rather than to the noise and pollution of the world.

The Scriptures teach us to go to the law and to the testimony, for if we speak not according to that Word there is no light in us. Give me but a Word out of God's mouth and I can live upon it, but all the words out of man's mouth apart from Divine Inspiration must be as unsatisfying food as if men tried to live on stones. The mere letter of the Word alone will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power which it could not possess otherwise. It is a blessed thing to put your ear down to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul.

You ask that the Holy Spirit would speak by many means, by visions and dreams and signs in the heavens and by extraordinary impressions. Hear then what the Word itself declares. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son. And that Son says, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. The voice out of the cloud and the voice of the Beloved agree, and the Father's command is still Hear Him. We are not to seek another voice to suffice us if we have not Christ speaking to us in the Scriptures.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The hearing of faith is a personal hearing, an attentive hearing, a believing and obedient hearing of the Gospel. No man gets saved by an inattentive or careless or fitful hearing. It is God's usual way to save men by their constantly, attentively, earnestly hearing the Word. Therefore take heed how ye hear and what ye hear. Wherein a minister speaks according to Holy Scripture, it is as much God's Word as if God Himself spoke, but wherein we speak our own thoughts apart from the Book, separate between what is God's and what is ours.

For this reason I would exhort you to prize above all the ordinary means which God has appointed and which you have rightly named. Prize the Holy Bible, read daily with prayer that the Spirit who inspired it would open your eyes to behold wondrous things out of His law. Prize messages from the pulpit when they are faithful to that Bible, for it is while you are hearing the Gospel that you are led to believe it. Prize godly counsel, for in the multitude of counsellors there is safety, yet try every counsel by the Word. Prize Divine appointments in providence and the lawful order of government, for the powers that be are ordained of God, but remember that no providence and no counsel and no dream may contradict or add to what God has already spoken.

Concerning dreams and visions and prophecies, remember that God did in ancient times speak thus to Joseph and to the Magi and to others for His wise purposes, and He is able still to do as He pleases, for His arm is not shortened and no purpose of His can be thwarted. Yet we who have the complete Scriptures are to test every impression, every vision, every supposed sign, by that sure Word. If a dream or a sign lead you away from the plain teaching of Scripture concerning salvation through Jesus Christ alone, concerning holiness of life, concerning marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and concerning purity within that covenant, it is not the Shepherd's voice, for His sheep hear His voice and follow Him in the way of holiness.

Your prayer for keeping from temptation and sin and deception and the evil one is most needful, and for that incomprehensible peace which passeth all understanding. With thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, and trust Him who ever liveth to make intercession for us. He is able to save forever them that come unto God by Him.

Let us pray together that the Lord would grant to you and to her and to your spouses and children and pastors and churches and leaders and partners and their households, a purged and opened ear to hear His Word, a heart to believe it and obey it, and grace to walk in the way of His commands. May He keep you from evil and from error, from lies and fear and the deceitfulness of sin, and make you to hear the voice of Jesus above every other voice, to trust Him as the sinner's Saviour, and to find in His blood and righteousness all your hope. May He cause you to hear believingly and obediently, candidly and honestly, as those who are in God's presence, desiring to know His truth that you may sincerely live it.

We ask this not because we merit it, but because Jesus lives to intercede, and all the promises of God in Him are yea and amen, to the glory of God by us.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer shows a sincere desire to be led by God and to see your household, your church, your pastors and leaders, and all those connected to you kept close to Christ, and for that we give thanks. It is right to look to the Word of God rather than to the noise of the world, for as Isaiah says, we must look to the law and to the testimony, and we know that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. We join you in thanking God that Jesus lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him, and that He alone is able to save completely, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

You have asked that God would speak by many means, by Scripture, by preaching, by godly counsel, by visions and dreams and signs. Scripture itself teaches us to hold fast to what is sure. God has spoken finally through His Son, and He speaks today most clearly and most safely through the Holy Bible, through the faithful preaching of that Word, through prayer in Jesus name, and through wise counsel, for in an abundance of counselors there is safety. Visions and dreams did occur in Scripture, as with Joseph and the Magi and others, but they were given by God's sovereign choice, not by our seeking or demanding them. We are not to chase extraordinary experiences, but to test every impression by Scripture and to listen for the Shepherd's voice where He has promised to be heard, in His Word.

This is why the fathers have warned that dreams are often like the imaginings of sleep. When the heart is stifled by excess and the soul is in disorder, dreams become full of wild fancies and monstrous visions. But when the soul is orderly and lives in the fear of God, its rest is composed and its thoughts by day and by night are decent and sober. The remedy is not to seek more dreams, but to awaken. The present life itself is in many ways like a dream, whether it seems prosperous or painful, and the night is passing. As one who hears the swallow in the morning shakes off sleep and lays aside dreaming and is clothed for the day, so we are called to put off imaginings, to lay aside the deep slumber of this world, and to be clothed in virtue and to look to the Sun of Righteousness, Christ Himself. That waking comes through repentance, sober living, self control, prayer, and a pure life, not through seeking signs in the heavens.

So we will pray for you as you have asked, according to Scripture. We pray that God will keep you, your spouse, your children, your friends, your pastors, your church, and your civil leaders from temptation, from evil, from deception and from the evil one, and that He will give to all of you a love for His Word and a willingness to obey it. We pray for marriages among you, that they would be honored as God designed them, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that homes where there is impurity or living together outside of that covenant would be brought to repentance and to holiness, for God blesses what He has ordained. We pray for your leaders in government, that God would give them wisdom to do justice and restrain evil as Romans 13 teaches. We pray that you would know the peace of God that passes understanding as you make your requests known to Him with thanksgiving, and that you would live not only for yourselves but for the common good, helping the poor, caring for one another, and using whatever gifts God has given you in protection, in teaching, in giving, and in service.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in Scripture, in prayer, and in the fellowship of the church, listening to faithful preaching and seeking godly counsel. Walk in an orderly and watchful way, keep your heart pure, and trust that God, whose arm is not too short to save and whose purposes cannot be thwarted, will guide you step by step as you walk in obedience to Christ. Nothing is impossible with God, and His light is stronger than darkness.

We join our faith with yours in the name of Jesus, the faithful witness, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen.
