Beloved of All
We have received your prayer request and we join with you in bringing your family before the Lord with thanksgiving and trust.
We pray for your spouse, that God would grant him health and a long life according to His mercy and will, and that your marriage and home would be strengthened and kept in His grace. We pray for your baby, that the fever which came on today would leave him quickly and completely, and for healing of the skin condition you mentioned. As the Scriptures show, when Christ touched Peter's mother in law the fever left at once and she was restored to full health, and when He spoke the word for the nobleman's son, the fever left him in that same hour. We ask the Lord, who has power over all sickness, to show that same mercy to your child, to guide the doctors and to grant favor for an appointment this week and a good report.
We also lift up your unspoken requests for your family and friends, knowing that God knows each need fully. We pray for your children and for your homeschooling, that the Lord would give you wisdom, patience, and joy, and that your weeks would be fruitful, orderly and free from unnecessary stress and setbacks. We ask that He would help you accomplish what is needed, that you would see His provision and answers to prayer, and that your home would be filled with His peace. That peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy in the home and in the Church, and where it is present, love and good order follow.
We pray too for protection from confusion and from those who bring strife, that the Lord would guard your household from disturbance and keep you united with one another and ever closer to Him. May He keep your minds at rest and your hearts fixed on Him, so that even while on earth you may know the quiet and hope of heaven.
Father, we place this spouse, this baby, these children and this home into Your hands. Heal where there is sickness, calm where there is fever, restore the skin, grant the appointment and good outcome, provide for the needs of the week, remove confusion, and draw this family closer together and closer to Christ. Let all be done according to Your will and for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
