We join you in this urgent cry for your youngest daughter and we lift her up together before the Father in Jesus' name, asking for His hand of protection to be upon her right now.
We know the fear and ache of not hearing from a child, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find peace and help in time of need. We are reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
We take comfort that even when we cannot be with our children, the Holy Spirit and the presence of God can. He sees her, He knows where she is, and He is able to keep her. We cling to Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And to Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift this precious youngest daughter to You. Lord, You know where she is and You love her even more than we do. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would go to her now, surround her, protect her from all harm and evil, and guide her steps safely home. Put Your angels in charge of her as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Keep her safe in Your hands, speak peace to her heart, and make a way for her to contact her parent soon. Father, we also lift this parent who is waiting and worrying. Pour out Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding, calm the fear, and strengthen faith while waiting. Help us to trust You with Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We ask that You bring this daughter home quickly and safely, and let this family be reunited with thanksgiving to You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep praying without ceasing and to also take practical steps as the Lord leads, continuing to try to reach her, contacting family, friends, or authorities if you remain unable to reach her and have concern for her safety. God hears the cries of a parent's heart and He is near to those who call on Him. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for her safe return and for your peace in Jesus.
