Satan On His Travels
Satan roams the earth spreading chaos and demands your vigilance against his deceptions.
We hear your urgent cry and we are standing with you in prayer together in Jesus' name for your youngest daughter, for your home, and for your own body and spirit as you fast and feel under attack and unwell.

We lift up your daughter to the Lord for her nursing school work. We know how demanding that calling is and how heavy the load can feel when sleep is lacking. We pray God gives her wisdom, focus, and endurance, and we also encourage with love that driving without sleep is dangerous and not wise stewardship of the life God has given her. If she is exhausted she should rest before driving, seek help, or make alternate arrangements, for her safety and the safety of others. The Lord wants her to be safe and to find true rest. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, to eat the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2. Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray the Lord will guard her coming and going, for Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.

We also bring before the Lord the trauma and pain from past relationships and the abuse she has suffered. We grieve with you over what was done to her. You are right to leave vengeance to God, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. God sees, He is just, and He will repay in His perfect time and way. We pray for deep healing of her mind and heart, for the Lord heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. If any of those past relationships involved intimacy outside of marriage, we gently speak the truth in love that God designed sexual intimacy for marriage alone between a man and a woman, and any sex outside of marriage is fornication and harms the soul. God offers forgiveness and cleansing through Jesus Christ when we repent, and He can restore purity and wholeness. We pray for her future to be marked by godly courtship that looks toward marriage to a believing husband, and that the Lord will bring her closer to you in a healthy, supportive way so you can help and encourage her as her parent. We pray God will give her peaceful sleep and restore her peace, for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We join you in praying for protection over your home and for covering over your daughter and all the women in your family. We agree that we all need the covering of Jesus twenty four hours a day. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We hear that you are fasting while feeling sick and with a headache and that you feel demonic attacks trying to take your family. Fasting is a biblical way to humble ourselves and seek God, but we encourage you to also care for your body, drink water, rest, and seek medical care if needed, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. For our struggle is spiritual, so we put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. We take comfort that you who is in you is greater than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We pray you will submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Do not be afraid, for God says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name we have access to the Father and it is in His name we have authority and salvation.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this precious daughter to You. Cover her with Your blood, guard her mind, heal her from all trauma and abuse, wash away every wound, and give her deep, restorative sleep and Your perfect peace. Keep her safe on the road and give her wisdom to not drive when exhausted. Help her to excel in nursing school for Your glory and to use her skills to care for others with compassion. Draw her close to her parent in love and understanding and surround her with godly counsel and friendships that lead toward a Christ centered marriage if it is Your will. Lord, we ask You to take vengeance into Your own hands as You have promised and to bring justice and healing in Your time. We lift up this parent who is fasting, sick, and weary with a headache. Touch their body, heal them, for You have said, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Lift the oppression and make every demonic attack flee at the name of Jesus. Protect this home, let Your angels encamp around it, let no evil take hold, and fill it with Your presence, rest, and peace. Strengthen their faith as they fast and seek You, and remind them that You hear, You see, and You will not let them be taken. We trust You to restore, protect, and give rest. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We are holding you and your daughter before the Lord with you right now. So much is pressing at once, her demanding nursing program, the exhaustion and unsafe driving, the lingering wounds from past abuse, and your own sickness and headache while you are fasting and feeling under spiritual attack. It makes sense you feel overwhelmed and desperate for Jesus to cover you both.

We are praying for her safety, for real rest and sleep, and for gentle healing of her mind and heart over time. That kind of healing often comes slowly, with steady support, so we are also praying your relationship can grow closer in safe, unpressured ways as she has capacity.

A couple of practical thoughts as we pray: if she is driving with no sleep, please help her find another way when she is that tired, a ride, carpooling, or talking with her instructor about options. Her safety matters so much. And since you are sick with a headache while fasting, please consider pausing the fast and checking in with your doctor and a trusted pastor about how to care for your body while you continue to pray. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father in Jesus name, we ask You to cover this mother and daughter, guard their home, give them sleep and peace, heal what has been wounded, and guide each next step. Keep them safe in Your care. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and we have carried it before the throne of grace with you. The Lord knows the weight you bear for your youngest daughter, for your home, and for your own wearied body, and He invites the heavy laden to come unto Him.

We pray that our Savior will give your daughter that present rest which He promises when we come to Him, not a rest far off after all labor is done, but rest now, even while duty presses. We have asked the Lord to keep her in her going out and coming in, to guard her on the road when sleep is short and the way is long, to grant her safety in her driving and clearness of mind in her studies for nursing school. We have asked Him to give her sleep, true sleep, and to quiet her mind from trauma and from the wounds left by past relationships. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing to the broken heart, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We pray He will change the lifeblood of her spirit and make her nature fresh again by His grace.

We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy way, but we ask Him to heal what sin and abuse have broken, to wash and restore, and to lead into that purity and peace which belong to those who walk with Christ. Marriage is His good ordinance, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it is to be kept within it. What has been outside that covering we leave under His forgiving and cleansing blood, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. When He forgives, He heals, and when He dwells with His people they need no more to say, I am sick, for the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

You have rightly said vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we leave it there. He will take it into His own just hand, and we need not carry that burden. Our part is to trust and to rest. Learn of Him, for He is meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls, a deep rest, a growing rest, a rest on the wing, rest in motion while the yoke is still upon us, because His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

For you, wearied and sick with headache and fasting, and feeling the press of the adversary upon your home, we pray for protection over your dwelling and over each soul within it. The Lord is your covering, and to abide under the shelter of Jesus is to be kept day and night. We pray the Lord will rebuke what seeks to harass you, lift the oppression you feel, restore peace to your home, and give you bodily relief and renewal of strength. If you fast, do so as your strength allows, waiting patiently upon Him and resting in the Lord, for a calm and quiet trusting in God is freedom from fear.

May the Lord draw your daughter closer to Himself first, and then, in His mercy, closer to you in love and confidence, that you may help her as God would have you help. May He give you both rest, sleep, and quietness of spirit.

We continue to pray, Trust and you shall rest. Come unto Him, and He will give you rest, and learning of Him you shall find rest more and more. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your urgent cry for your youngest daughter and for your household has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and find mercy and help.

We pray for your daughter in her nursing studies. May the Lord grant her clarity of mind, strength for the work set before her, and wisdom to steward her body well. We ask for His protection as she drives, there and back, especially when she is weary and without sleep. We ask Him to guard her steps, to keep her from harm, and to give her the rest and sleep she needs to be restored. We pray that He would heal her mind from trauma and from the wounds of past relationships and from any abuse she has suffered. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we leave all wrongs in His just and righteous hands, asking Him to bring justice in His way and time, and to pour out His healing, peace, and restoration upon her. We ask that He would draw her close to you again in a healthy and loving way, so that you may support and help her as a mother, and that He would restore her peace and give her deep, quiet sleep.

We pray also for your home and for all of you. We ask the Lord to cover you, as you said, with the presence of Jesus at all times, for He is our refuge and our protector. In this world we are not left alone to face the enemy. When we are isolated the adversary seeks to attack, but when we stay together in Christ and in His Church we find strength and safety. So we pray that the Lord would gather you close to Himself and to faithful believers around you who can stand with you, pray with you, and help bear this burden.

For the oppression and attacks you describe, and for your sickness and headache while fasting, we ask for the Lord's deliverance and healing. Christ has power both to heal and to drive away every evil, and His power is greater than any affliction. We pray that He would lift this heaviness, rebuke every work of darkness, grant you relief from pain, and give you renewed strength. As you fast and pray, may He sustain you according to His will, not leaving you to faint, but filling you with His Spirit, His comfort, and His hope.

Like the woman who cried out for her daughter and did not cease even when the answer seemed delayed, keep bringing your daughter and your family before Him with persistent faith. The Lord sees that faith and hears that persevering prayer. He is able to heal, to restore, and to keep.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, have mercy on this mother and her daughter and their household. Heal what is wounded, guard what is vulnerable, give sleep to the weary, peace to the troubled, and safety to all who trust in You. Break every chain of darkness, lift sickness, and let Your peace dwell in their home. We trust You to act according to Your perfect wisdom and love, and we wait for Your help. Amen.
