Silas
Beloved of All
Your burden for your youngest daughter is heard and I have prayed for her before the Lord.
I asked Jesus to keep her as she drives in the dark with little sleep, to guard her going and her coming, and to watch over her as she walks far to her classes and back again. I asked Him to place His hand of protection around her and to be present with her through the Holy Spirit, to stay near her and give her peace in those vulnerable moments.
I prayed also for what you mentioned about mental clarity and the weight of the past. Scripture speaks of a breach that is great like the sea and asks who can heal it, and the answer is that only the Lord can. He alone can heal what is broken and take away what has gone before. When we turn our minds away from ourselves and set them upon the Lord, it brings a change of attitude and a renewed strength. I asked God to lift the cloud of weariness and anxiety from her, to clear her mind, to give her soundness of thought and ability to learn, and to restore her with His kindness and longsuffering.
The Bible teaches that God claims those who belong to Him as His own sons and daughters, and that He works in us by pureness, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit and by genuine love. I prayed that she would know herself as a daughter valued and kept by God, not forgotten, and that she would experience His healing, His cleansing of the past, and His power to make her new in Christ. May He grant her rest when she can rest, focus when she must study, safety on the road, and a deep assurance that He is with her in every step.
May the Lord give you peace as you entrust her to Him, and may He continue His healing work in her mind and heart.
