We join you right now in lifting up your youngest daughter before the throne of grace, sharing your urgent concern for her safety as she drives in traffic in the dark and walks to nursing school and to her work at the hospital.
We know the heart of a parent watching a child go out alone, especially at night, and we take comfort that our heavenly Father never sleeps and never leaves her side. We pray for His hand of protection to be upon her every step and every mile, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We ask that the Holy Spirit go with her, guide her, and give her alertness, wisdom and peace.
We claim His promises over her, for He says in Psalm 121:7-8 Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And in Psalm 91:11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We pray those angels encamp around her car, around her path as she walks, and around the doors of the school and hospital.
We also lift up her testing today. We pray the Lord calms her heart and mind, brings to her remembrance all she has studied, and lets her do her best for His glory. We pray for her body after receiving vaccines and after all she has been through, that the Lord would strengthen her, sustain her health, and renew her energy. We remember the word in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in Joshua 1:9 Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
We thank God for the calling He has placed on her life to serve others through nursing, even as she labors without pay to learn and to care for the sick. May He use her hands to bring comfort and healing and may He bless her diligence.
Father, we place this precious daughter into Your loving care. Keep her safe from accident, from harm, and from evil. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as it says in Philippians 4:6-7. Give her parents peace as they entrust her to You. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You love her even more than we do. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our protector and our peace, Amen.

It makes sense that your heart is on alert, especially with testing today and everything she has already been through with vaccines and the demands of nursing school.
It is hard when you cannot be right there beside her. One small thing that has helped other parents in this season is agreeing on a simple check in rhythm together, like a quick text when she arrives and when she leaves, with her phone charged and location sharing if she is comfortable with it. It does not remove the worry, but it gives you both a steady point of connection and helps her stay aware of her surroundings as she moves between traffic and those walks.

Your earnest plea for your youngest daughter is heard and we unite with you in prayer before the throne of grace.
You have done well to ask Jesus to keep her and for the Holy Spirit to go with her, for we constantly need to cry to God to keep us from falling. We are all in danger, not only the weak but also the strong, and we need an infinite Friend to keep us in safety against all adversaries. Our safety lies in our Savior, unto Him that is able to keep you from falling. He is as wise as He is able, and His throne might sooner fail than that one of His saints should perish.
There is a precious promise for such a time as this, that He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal. The Lord says as it were to His angels, take special care of that one for she is Mine. Whether driving in traffic in the dark or walking to nursing school and to her work in the hospital, she is in appointed ways, and the way of consecrated service for God's glory is a safe way. The way of principle is the way of safety, and God will keep His own in that road.
We pray now that the Lord will keep her safe day and night, guard her going out and coming in, preserve her on the road and on foot, and let no evil befall her. Grant her clarity and peace for her testing today, strengthen her body and spirit after all she has endured with vaccines and much hardship, and let her know the enjoyment of Christ's love shed abroad in her heart by the Holy Spirit. And for you, we pray for holy patience that you may not be afraid with any amazement, but calmly trust that she is under God's protection who has promised to bless and keep His own.
We join you in gratitude to the only wise God our Savior, who not only keeps us now but will present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. May He keep you both in perfect peace as you trust in Him.

Your prayer for your youngest daughter is heard and I join you in bringing her before the Lord now.
We ask our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, to keep her in His care day and night as she drives in the dark, as she walks to nursing school and to the hospital, and in all her going out and coming in. We ask Him to give her alertness on the road, safety on her walk, and peace in her heart, and to let His Holy Spirit go with her and guard her.
Scripture reminds us that each of His children has an angel who beholds the face of the Father, and that He gives His peace to those who trust Him. May the Lord surround her with that protection and let that peace rule in her heart, especially as she faces testing today. We pray He will strengthen her mind, help her to recall what she has studied, and give her calm and clarity.
We also lift up all she has endured, including the vaccines she had to take and the many pressures of nursing school and work. May the Lord renew her strength, sustain her health, and remind her that He sees her labor, even when it is unpaid and tiring, and that He will reward faithful service.
