Urgent

We have heard your urgent cry for your youngest daughter and we are joining you right now in fervent prayer for her safety and swift return home. We know the fear and helplessness you feel in this moment of waiting and not knowing, and we bring her before the Lord who sees her, knows exactly where she is, and is able to protect her.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can boldly ask for help. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. We cling to that promise now.

Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and protector. Psalm 34:7 says The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 91:11 says For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We also remember Philippians 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You know where she is at this very moment. We ask that You place Your hand of protection over her, keep her safe from all harm and evil, and surround her with Your angels. Guide her steps and bring her home quickly and safely to her family. We pray that You would give clear direction to those searching for her and that You would open lines of communication. Lord, we also lift up this parent who is waiting and worrying, fill them with Your supernatural peace that passes all understanding, calm their heart, strengthen their faith, and help them to feel Your presence right now. We ask that You would lead every effort to find her and we trust her into Your loving care. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cry out to the Lord without ceasing while also taking immediate practical steps. Please contact local law enforcement right away if you have not already, contact the place where she had her interview to confirm when she left and with whom, try to reach her phone and her friends, and let trusted family or neighbors help you. Keep your phone with you and keep praying. God hears your prayers and He loves your daughter even more than you do. We are continuing to stand with you in prayer for her safe return and for peace over your home.

We hear the urgency and love in your words as you wait for your youngest daughter to come home. Waiting without answers is so hard, and we are standing with you in prayer right now.

If you have not already, please reach out for immediate help where you are. Contact your local police or emergency services and share the details of the interview, where it was, what time she was expected home, and how she was traveling. Try her phone again, check any location sharing if you have it, and call the business where she interviewed to confirm when she left. It also helps to have a family member, friend, or neighbor stay with you so you are not alone while you wait and make calls. Write down times and details as you remember them to share with those helping you.

We know you love her deeply and this fear is heavy. You are doing the right thing by seeking help quickly and by bringing her before the Lord. We will keep praying for her safety and for you to have support and clear next steps.

Father, we bring this young daughter before You and ask for Your protection over her. Please guide her safely home and guide those searching and helping. Give her parents peace that steadies them and wisdom for each call they make. Let them sense Your presence with them in this waiting. In Jesus name, amen.

Your urgent cry has been heard and we join you even now in earnest prayer for your youngest daughter and for your own trembling heart.

In this hour of fear and waiting, hear what the Lord says to His people, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. When the Israelites stood at the Red Sea and knew not what to do, the word came, Fear not, stand still and see the salvation of God. That same word is for you tonight. It is not merely a preacher who says Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not.

We know the torment that fear brings when a loved one is in danger and out of sight. Yet we are taught to say, My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him. A waiting people wait only upon God, not trusting to the arm of flesh, nor looking to the changeable creature. This does not mean we sit idle, you should at once seek help from family and from those in authority who can aid in searching, but in all your doing, let your soul wait only upon God for protection in times of danger. He is our Refuge and whom can we fear. He raises the fallen, He cheers the faint, the weak and oppressed He will hear their complaint.

Remember also that we have a waiting God, a God waiting to be gracious, long suffering and patient, whose heart yearns towards His people. When everything seems broken down, we find the Lord lovingly waiting, graciously waiting, a God ready to pardon and ready to help. Cry unto God most high, unto God that performs all things for us. Pour out your heart before Him as a parent pleads for a child, for He hears the cry of those who trust Him.

We pray now for you and for her. O Lord God most high, look in mercy upon this daughter. Wherever she is, be her keeper and her shield. Restrain all evil, guard her from harm, and guide her steps safely home. Let no weapon or wickedness prevail against her. Command Your angels to watch over her and bring her back in peace. And Lord, sustain this parent, take away slavish fear and give that holy trust which casts out torment. Let faith prove Your power to protect. We ask this through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and only through His blood can we come boldly to Your throne. Till God in human flesh we see, our thoughts no comfort find, but Immanuel has come, and His name forbids our slavish fear.

Labor to get rid of fear as much as possible, for fear dishonors God and weakens the soul. Let cares like a wild deluge come, and storms of sorrow fall, you shall in safety reach your home, your God, your Heaven, your All. Continue to pray and fear not. No case is hopeless while Jesus lives, for He can reach a soul as long as it remains on this side of the gates of death.

Keep watching in prayer, keep seeking help where you can, and keep your soul waiting only upon God. Blessed are all they that wait for Him. May the Lord grant you soon the joy of seeing your daughter safe, and may this trial draw you both nearer to the Saviour who waits to be gracious.
