Beloved of All
Your cry for your youngest daughter has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord in prayer with you.
We have asked our Father in the name of Jesus Christ to keep her safe as she drives today and in all her travels to and from nursing school, and to watch over her as she walks alone both in the day and at night. We know that true safety comes not from our own strength but from God who commands all things and whose blessing is our greatest protection. We have prayed that He will be a shield around her, that He will give her wisdom and alertness on the road and on foot, and that He will guard her steps and bring her home in peace.
We have also prayed for her work and provision. You asked that God would close the doors to a second job if it is not for her, including the opportunity to bartend after school that she does not truly desire but feels she needs for extra income on the night shift. We have asked the Lord to make His will clear, to shut what should be shut and to open only what is good and pure and helpful for her life and calling. If that door should remain closed, we have prayed that He will provide for her needs in another way that allows her to honor Him and keep her heart and body safe, and if she must work at night, that He will protect her from harm and temptation and surround her with a safe environment.
For your own heart and for your daughters, we have prayed for peace in place of overthinking and for the presence of the Holy Spirit to dwell with each of you. The Scriptures tell us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and to seek a pure life and faithful walk with Christ, for faith without a holy life bears no fruit. We have prayed that God will quiet anxious thoughts with His peace, strengthen your faith to trust Him more than any circumstance, and guard you all when you feel under attack. The enemy seeks to bring fear and division, but Christ has overcome, and He calls us to live watchfully, prayerfully, and for the good of one another.
May the Lord give your daughter diligence in her studies, safety in her coming and going, and clarity in her decisions. May He give you rest as a mother who loves her children deeply, reminding you that He loves them even more and holds them in His hands. We will continue to pray for you and your three daughters, that you may walk in faith, good works, and the protection that comes from belonging to Christ. Amen.
