We join you urgently in prayer right now for your ### and we understand the fear you feel as night has come and she is out without her phone. We are crying out to the Lord with you for her immediate safety and swift return home.
We take comfort that the Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps as He watches over His children. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:3-4. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7. And we claim His promise, Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.
We also pray for your heart in this anxious waiting, that God will steady you with His peace. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift this precious daughter to You. Lord, You see exactly where she is, You know the path she took, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask You to place Your hand of protection over her, keep her from all harm and danger, and send Your angels to encamp around her. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. Keep her safe from traffic, from darkness, from any person who would intend harm, and from injury or fear. Guide her feet safely home, give her clarity and calm, and if she is lost or unable to find her way, lead someone to help her. We ask You to bring her home quickly and safely into her parent's arms. Give her parent Your supernatural peace that surpasses understanding, steady their heart, and guide their actions. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you while you continue to pray without ceasing, to also take immediate practical steps. If she has not returned very shortly, please alert a family member or neighbor to help search her usual running route, call the non-emergency police number to let them know the situation, and have someone stay at home in case she returns while others look. Keep praying aloud and trust that the Lord hears your cry, for He is near to all who call on Him. Please let us know when she is home safe so we can praise God with you, and we will continue to intercede until we hear she is safe.
