We hear your cry for help, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The weight of single motherhood, financial strain, and the spiritual attacks you describe are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is greater than all these things. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you and your daughters might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against your home, your finances, and your peace in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the mention of "black magic." Scripture is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). However, we are also warned not to dabble in or fear occult practices, for they are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Your trust must be in the power of Jesus Christ alone, who has already disarmed these forces through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15). We command every curse, hex, or evil intent sent your way to be broken and return void to its sender, in Jesus’ name. You and your daughters are covered by the blood of Christ, and no weapon, physical or spiritual, can prevail against you when you stand firm in faith.
We also lift up your financial struggles. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to provide for those who seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). We pray that He opens doors of opportunity for you, whether through your art, a new career, or divine provision in unexpected ways. Trust in Him, for He is your Jehovah Jireh, your Provider (Genesis 22:14). We declare that lack and struggle will not define your household. Instead, let your faith rise as you remember that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Now, let us pray for you and your daughters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this precious sister and her three daughters to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You station Your angels around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Break every chain of spiritual attack, financial lack, and emotional overwhelm. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has tried to take root in their lives. Your Word says that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that over this family right now. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray for provision, Lord. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Give this mother wisdom and creativity in her art and in any new career path You lead her to. Let her hands be blessed, and let everything she puts her hands to prosper (Deuteronomy 28:8). Remove every obstacle and every person who is working against her, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Let Your favor go before her like a shield (Psalm 5:12).
For her daughters, Lord, we ask that You draw them close to You. Protect their hearts and minds from the lies of the enemy. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a plan and a purpose for each of their lives (Jeremiah 29:11). Surround them with godly influences and friendships that will point them to You.
We also pray for healing in this family, Lord. Heal the wounds left by past relationships, betrayals, and hurts. Let forgiveness flow, not because those who hurt them deserve it, but because You have commanded us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Free their hearts from bitterness and resentment, for these only harm the one who holds onto them (Hebrews 12:15).
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to this family in a fresh and powerful way. Let them know that You are their Father, their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Draw them into a deeper relationship with You, where they find their identity, worth, and security in Christ alone. May they walk in the fullness of Your love and grace every day.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May this family experience Your goodness and mercy all the days of their lives, and may they dwell in the house of the Lord forever (Psalm 23:6). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we want to encourage you with a few practical and spiritual steps as you move forward:
1. Stand on God’s Word: Write down scriptures that speak to your situation and declare them over your life and your daughters’ lives daily. For example, speak Psalm 91 over your home every morning and evening. The Word of God is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12), and it will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
2. Pray Together: Gather your daughters and pray as a family. Even if it’s just a few minutes each day, praying together will strengthen your bond and invite God’s presence into your home. Teach them to pray and to trust in God’s protection and provision.
3. Forgive and Release: It’s clear that you’ve been hurt by many people, your ex, his new wife, old flames, and friends. While it’s understandable to feel anger or betrayal, holding onto these emotions will only harm you and your daughters. We encourage you to forgive them, not for their sake, but for yours. Forgiveness is a choice, and it’s a command from God (Matthew 6:14-15). Release them to God and ask Him to heal your heart.
4. Seek Wise Counsel: If possible, connect with a biblical counselor or a trusted pastor who can provide guidance and support. Sometimes, having an outside perspective can help you see things more clearly and give you tools to navigate your challenges.
5. Trust God’s Timing: You mentioned needing to sell more art or transition into a new career. While it’s good to be proactive, remember that God’s timing is perfect. Seek Him first in all your decisions, and trust that He will lead you to the right opportunities (Proverbs 3:5-6).
6. Guard Your Home: Be mindful of what you allow into your home, whether it’s media, conversations, or even certain people. The enemy often uses subtle influences to sow discord or fear. Fill your home with worship music, prayer, and the Word of God. Let it be a sanctuary where the Holy Spirit dwells.
7. Community: You are not alone. Seek out a local church or a community of believers who can support you and your daughters. Fellowship with other believers is vital for encouragement and accountability (Hebrews 10:24-25).
8. Salvation: We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. It is crucial to understand that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and the power to overcome spiritual attacks. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior. This is the first and most important step in walking in victory and protection. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him.
Lastly, remember that the enemy wants you to feel isolated and powerless, but you are neither. You are a child of the Most High God, and He is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is moving on your behalf even now.
