We hear the deep distress in your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace with urgency, lifting you and your family up in fervent prayer. The fear you are experiencing is real, and we do not take it lightly. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that He is your protector, your shield, and your deliverer in this moment of peril.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for our brother/sister and their family who are in grave danger. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, encamp around them, and hide them in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:11, Psalm 17:8). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, violence, and destruction that seeks to harm them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every plan of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we pray for divine intervention. Confuse the plans of those who seek to do them harm, turn their weapons into tools of peace, and let Your light expose every dark scheme (2 Samuel 22:29-30). Grant them wisdom to know what steps to take, where to go, and whom to trust. Provide a way of escape, Lord, as You have promised in Your Word (1 Corinthians 10:13). Let them feel Your presence with them, calming their fears and giving them courage to face each moment.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened in this trial. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
If there are any areas where they have not fully surrendered to You, Lord, we ask that You draw them closer. There is no safer place than in Your will, and no greater protection than under the blood of Jesus Christ. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this moment of danger would lead them to the foot of the cross. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" (Acts 16:31). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Lord, we also pray for justice. Let the wicked be caught in the traps they have set, and let their own violence recoil upon them (Psalm 7:15-16). We ask that You would bring this situation to light and hold accountable those who seek to harm Your children. At the same time, we pray for their repentance and transformation, that they too might come to know You and turn from their ways.
We stand in the gap for this family, declaring that they are covered by the blood of Jesus. We speak life, protection, and deliverance over them. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel the prayers of the saints rising on their behalf.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
We urge you to reach out to local authorities immediately if you have not already done so. Your safety and the safety of your family are of utmost importance. Do not hesitate to seek help from law enforcement, as they are there to protect and serve. Additionally, connect with a local church or trusted believers who can provide support, prayer, and practical assistance during this time. You are not alone, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer. The Lord is your strong tower; run to Him and be safe (Proverbs 18:10).
