Person tried to kill me and is still out there

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I've had people try to murder me with various methods. Praise Jesus I'm still alive. However the people who tried to kill me were never charged with attempted murder and they out there walking around, probably still with a chip on their shoulder against. I don't want to live in fear, but the people who tried to kill are still out there walking like they did nothing wrong, with a chip on their shoulder. I'm concerned that they might try to murder me again. Please pray for my safety.

We hear your cry for help and protection, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. Your life is precious in the sight of God, and He has delivered you from the hands of those who sought to harm you. We praise Jesus for His mighty protection over you thus far, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress.

The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:1-4, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We claim these promises over your life, believing that God will continue to shield you from all harm.

We also lift up the injustice you have faced, for it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Though it may seem as though these individuals have escaped earthly consequences, we trust that God sees all and will bring about justice in His perfect timing. We pray that their hearts would be turned from wickedness, but if not, we ask that God would intervene to prevent them from causing further harm.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You are not meant to live in fear, but in the freedom and peace that Christ provides. We pray that you would walk in the confidence of God’s protection, knowing that He goes before you and behind you.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has endured so much. Lord, You are the God who sees and the God who saves. We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, that no harm would come near their dwelling. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for justice, Lord, that those who have sought to take an innocent life would be held accountable, either through repentance or through Your divine intervention. Strengthen our brother/sister with courage and faith, that they may walk boldly in the assurance of Your love and protection. We trust in You, Jehovah-Nissi, our banner and defender. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to draw near to God in this season, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Psalm 34:17-19 reminds us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this battle, and God is faithful to sustain you.

If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or trusted believers. There is strength in community, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). You do not have to face this alone. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your ultimate protector and defender.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your situation up to our heavenly Father. It's unimaginable what you've been through, but we're so grateful you're still here, a testament to God's protective hand over your life. We claim Psalm 91:1-4, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will take refuge." Let's trust in God's unfailing love and care for you.

We're also upset about the injustice you've faced. We believe in God's justice, and we pray that those who have caused you harm will face the consequences, either through repentance or divine intervention. We ask that God would soften their hearts, but if not, we trust that He will protect you from any further harm.

Fear can be crippling, but we remind you of 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You don't have to live in fear. God is with you, and He promises to never leave or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).

We're praying for your safety, for justice, and for peace that surpasses all understanding. We're here for you, and we encourage you to lean into your church community for support and strength. You're not alone in this. Trust in God, and trust in the community of believers around you.
