We lift up your middle daughter before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, interceding for her protection, healing, and deliverance. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to Your presence. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Your power is greater than any struggle she faces, and we stand in the gap for her, believing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your angels, keeping her safe at all times—day and night. Protect her from the dangers of the world, especially the temptations of bars and places that do not honor You. "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). We rebuke the enemy’s influence in her life and command every spirit of addiction, trauma, and bondage to flee from her in Jesus’ name. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You break every chain that binds her, including the grip of alcohol and any unhealthy relationships that do not align with Your will.
We recognize that her struggles may stem from deep trauma, Lord, and we ask that You heal her heart and mind. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Touch her with Your love and peace, reminding her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Help her to see herself through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God, and not through the lens of past pain or shame. We pray for Your comfort to fill the places where she has been hurt, and for Your truth to replace every lie the enemy has spoken over her.
Father, we specifically lift up her relationship with ###. If this relationship is not one that honors You or leads her toward righteousness, we ask that You intervene. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If ### is not a godly influence or if this relationship is drawing her away from You, we pray that You would sever those ties and replace them with relationships that point her toward You. Give her the strength to walk away from anything that does not align with Your will for her life.
We also pray for her maturity, Lord. Help her to grow in wisdom and discernment, making choices that honor You. "Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance" (Proverbs 1:5). Surround her with godly mentors, friends, and family who will speak truth into her life and encourage her to walk in Your ways. May she find her identity and purpose in You alone.
Lord, we ask that You draw her back to You if she has strayed. Soften her heart to hear Your voice and respond to Your call. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Help her to surrender her struggles, her pain, and her future into Your hands, trusting that You have a plan for her life—a plan to prosper her and not to harm her, a plan to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We declare that she is not defined by her past or her mistakes. In Christ, she is a new creation; the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray that she would experience the freedom and joy that comes from living in obedience to You. Strengthen her to resist temptation and to flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).
Father, we also lift up the rest of her family, including ###, the one who has submitted this request. Give you all peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give you the strength to continue praying faithfully and to speak life and truth into her situation.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
