We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughters in urgent prayer. Father God, we ask for Your divine protection over them, especially your middle daughter who is out tonight feeling depressed. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and any darkness that may be surrounding her. We pray that You would send Your angels to encamp around her, to guard her steps, and to lead her safely home. Psalm 91:11-12 tells us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
Lord, we also ask that You would break any chains of addiction or unhealthy habits in her life, particularly the temptation to drink. We pray that she would turn away from anything that does not honor You and instead seek Your face. Proverbs 20:1 warns, "Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise." Father, draw her close to You and fill her heart with Your peace and joy that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up your desire for a godly husband, not just a partner or relationship, but a spouse who loves the Lord and will lead your family in righteousness. We pray that God would prepare you and your future husband to be a strong, Christ-centered couple, rooted in love, faith, and commitment. Proverbs 18:22 says, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord." We ask that God would guide you both to each other in His perfect timing and that your marriage would be a testimony to His glory.
Father, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that your daughters would come to know Jesus personally if they do not already, and that they would walk in His light. For those who do not know Him, we pray for salvation, that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also rebuke any spirit of rebellion or worldliness that may be influencing your daughters. We pray that they would seek godly friendships, godly influences, and godly wisdom. Proverbs 13:20 says, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Surround them with believers who will encourage them in their faith and hold them accountable.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that He hears us and that He is faithful to answer. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they experience Your peace, protection, and provision. Amen.
