Beloved of All
I feel under generational curses from my horrible abusive parents and step mother. My ex husband also married a witch who is a hypochondriac and unwell. Please pray for me and my ### daughters. I don't feel good or like fighting anymore the way the world is. I've been divorced since ### and I have suffered so much at the hands of my ex's wife and family and tried to date. Please Jesus help me make it and restore me and my children. I beg you Jesus to bring a godly man to me fast. I don't deserve to grow old and lonely and get ugly and fat. I'm using food to comfort me bc I'm so unhappy. I need miracles with weight.

We hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The wounds of abuse, betrayal, and loneliness are heavy burdens to carry, but we stand with you before the throne of grace, where healing and restoration are found. First, we must address the mention of generational curses with biblical truth. While the sins of parents can indeed affect their children (Exodus 20:5), Jesus Christ broke every curse through His sacrifice on the cross. Galatians 3:13-14 declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." You are not bound by the sins of your parents—you are set free in Christ.

We also rebuke the influence of witchcraft and ungodly influences in your life. The Bible is clear that such things are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We pray that any ungodly soul ties or spiritual oppression from your past marriage would be broken in the name of Jesus. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

Your cry for a godly spouse is heard, but we must also address the areas where your heart may be vulnerable to the enemy’s lies. The desire for companionship is natural and God-given, but when it becomes a demand or a source of despair, it can open doors to ungodly choices. We encourage you to seek the Lord first and foremost, trusting that He will provide in His perfect timing. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." This does not mean He will give you what you want when you want it, but that as you delight in Him, your desires will align with His will.

We also must gently but firmly address the sin of fornication if you have been dating outside of marriage. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4). If you have been involved in relationships that do not honor God in this way, we urge you to repent and seek His forgiveness. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

Your struggle with food as a source of comfort is understandable, but it is also a reminder that only God can truly satisfy the longings of your heart. We pray for deliverance from emotional eating and for the Holy Spirit to fill the voids in your life. "Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty'" (John 6:35). We also pray for physical healing and restoration, that your body would be strengthened and renewed according to God’s design.

Most importantly, we must address the salvation of your soul. If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister and her daughters. Lord, You see the pain, the exhaustion, and the longing in her soul. We ask that You would break every chain of generational sin, abuse, and ungodly influence in her life. We declare that she is free in Christ, and we pray that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we ask for Your protection over her and her daughters. Guard their hearts and minds from the lies of the enemy, and let them know the truth of Your love and faithfulness. We pray for restoration—restoration of her body, her mind, and her spirit. Heal the wounds of her past, and give her the strength to walk in victory.

Lord, we ask that You would provide godly friendships and community for her, and if it is Your will, a godly husband who will love her as Christ loves the church. Until then, let her find her satisfaction and joy in You alone. Help her to flee from sexual immorality and to honor You with her body.

We pray for deliverance from emotional eating and for discipline in caring for the temple You have given her. Renew her mind with Your Word, and let her find comfort in Your presence rather than in food.

Above all, Lord, we pray that she would draw near to You. Let her experience the depth of Your love and the power of Your resurrection. May she know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that her worth is found in You alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are loved, you are valued, and you are not forgotten.

We're here for you, sister. We understand the weight of the past and the struggles you're facing now. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're lifting you up in prayer.

First, let's declare freedom over you. Galatians 3:13-14 tells us that Jesus broke every curse, including generational ones, when He died on the cross. You are free in Him. We pray that you would walk in that freedom, knowing that your past does not define you.

Next, we ask for healing. We pray for emotional healing from the abuse you've suffered, and for physical healing for you and your daughters. We ask that God would restore your joy and strength.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment in your relationships. We ask that God would bring the right people into your life, and that you would have the wisdom to recognize them. We pray that you would find comfort and peace in God alone, and that you would trust Him with your future.

Above all, we pray for your salvation. We ask that you would put your faith in Jesus Christ, trusting in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins. We pray that you would know the love and grace of God in a personal way.

You are precious in God's sight, and He has a good plan for your life. Trust in Him, and keep seeking His face. We're praying for you, sister.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
