The silence you’re experiencing is deeply unsettling, and we join you in asking God to watch over her, guide her steps, and bring her safely back into your care. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:19, *"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* We claim this promise over your daughter, declaring that the Lord is her refuge and strength, even in the unknown.
Father, we ask You to surround her with Your angels, shielding her from harm and leading her away from any danger. Calm the storm of fear in her mother’s heart, Lord, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there is any influence or situation pulling her away from safety or Your will, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We pray for wisdom for her and for those around her to make godly decisions, and we ask that You soften her heart to reach out to her family.
We also lift up the friend she is staying with. If there is any ungodly behavior or environment in that home—whether it be substance use, unhealthy relationships, or anything contrary to Your Word—we ask You to intervene. The Bible warns in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits.'" Let Your truth prevail, Lord, and draw her away from anything that would lead her astray.*
If your daughter has not yet placed her faith in Jesus Christ, we pray fervently for her salvation. There is no greater safety than being under the covering of the Lord, and we ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Romans 10:13 declares, *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."* May she come to know Jesus as her Savior and find her identity and security in Him.
We stand in the gap for your family, declaring that God is a present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
