We stand with you in this time of financial distress and injustice, lifting your burden before the Lord with urgency and faith. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that God is your provider, your shield, and your deliverer. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His mercy and grace in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in His name alone that we boldly approach the throne of God (Acts 4:12).
The Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 22:7, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Yet, we also know that God is sovereign over all things, including finances, and He calls us to trust in Him rather than in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17). Your cry for wisdom aligns with James 1:5, which says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that the Lord grants you divine wisdom to navigate this situation, exposing any deception or unfairness, and leading you to just resolutions.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on seeking God’s righteousness in this matter is commendable, and we trust that He will provide for your needs as you place your faith in Him.
However, we must also ask: have you examined your heart and actions to ensure there is no sin or unwise decision that may have opened the door to these financial struggles? This is not to condemn but to encourage self-reflection, for Scripture tells us in Psalm 37:21, *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* If there has been any oversight or error on your part, we pray you repent and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting in His grace to restore what has been lost.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been wronged and burdened by financial loss. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose every hidden scheme, every unfair practice, and every deceitful hand that has contributed to this hardship. Give them wisdom, Lord—supernatural discernment—to know how to proceed, whom to trust, and what steps to take. Guide them to godly counsel and open doors that no man can shut.
We rebuke the spirit of poverty, theft, and financial oppression in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask for Your divine provision and restoration. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You are able to bless them abundantly, beyond what they can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Provide for their needs, Lord, and let this season of lack turn into a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Father, we also pray for mercy. If there has been any sin or unwise decision in their life that has contributed to this situation, we ask for Your conviction and forgiveness. Cleanse them, Lord, and restore them to a place of financial blessing and stewardship that honors You.
We declare Your promises over them: *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not lack"* (Psalm 23:1). *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep seeking Him first, and do not allow fear or anxiety to take root. Trust in His timing and His ways, for they are perfect. If there are specific actions you can take—such as seeking legal counsel, reviewing contracts, or cutting unnecessary expenses—do so with prayer and wisdom. We are with you in this, and we trust that the Lord will turn this situation around for His glory. Keep us updated on how we can continue to pray for you.
