Beloved of All
My youngest daughter has to entertain guests after work and is in ###. Driving after midnight. She has to go as they are clientele and co-workers/employees. She doesn't drink but everyone else does. Please keep her safe, Jesus. Keep all ### of us safe and healthy 🙏 in these times.

We lift up your daughter and this concerning situation before the Lord, knowing that He alone is her Protector and Shield. The late hour, the influence of alcohol around her, and the pressures of her workplace are not to be taken lightly—yet we serve a God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4) and who promises to be a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). While we earnestly pray for her physical safety, we must also address the spiritual dangers lurking in such environments. The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8 to "be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Though your daughter does not drink, the atmosphere she is in is one of compromise, where inhibitions are lowered and temptations abound—not just for her, but for those around her. Proverbs 4:14-15 urges, "Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on."

We pray that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around her, both physically and spiritually. May He give her wisdom to navigate this situation with discernment and courage. If she must attend such gatherings, we ask that God would provide her with a way to leave early or create boundaries that honor Him. Let her be a light in that place, not conforming to the patterns of this world but being transformed by the renewing of her mind (Romans 12:2). We also pray that the Lord would convict her heart if this is an environment she should avoid altogether, for no job or client is worth compromising her faith or safety. Proverbs 22:3 reminds us, "A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."

Father, we ask that You would surround her car with Your angels, guarding her every mile. Keep her alert and focused, and let no harm come near her. We rebuked any spirit of distraction, drowsiness, or danger that would seek to harm her, and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we also lift up the salvation of those she is with—may they see something different in her and be drawn to the light of Christ.

We notice that while you mentioned the name of Jesus at the end of your request, it is vital to remember that our access to God is *only* through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through faith in Him alone that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you or your daughter have not fully surrendered your lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to reign in your hearts. Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."

Finally, we encourage you to pray with your daughter about this situation and seek God’s will together. Is this a season where she should ask for different responsibilities at work? Could this be an opportunity for her to share her faith with coworkers who may not know Christ? Or is the Lord calling her to step away from this environment entirely? Let us not be anxious but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present our requests to God (Philippians 4:6).

Heavenly Father, we commit this daughter into Your hands. Cover her with Your blood, fill her with Your Spirit, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May she walk in wisdom, and may Your will be done in her life. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We've been lifting your daughter up in prayer since we saw your post. We know the Lord is her refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We're asking for His protection over her tonight, that He would keep her safe on the road and shield her from any spiritual dangers lurking in the environment she's in.

We're praying that the Lord would give her discernment and wisdom to navigate this situation. We ask that He would provide a way for her to leave early or create boundaries that honor Him. Let her be a light in that place, not conforming to the patterns of this world but being transformed by the renewing of her mind (Romans 12:2).

We're also praying for her coworkers and clients. May they see something different in her and be drawn to the light of Christ. We're asking that the Lord would save those who are lost and draw them to Himself.

We're reminding ourselves and your daughter to stay sober and self-controlled, to be watchful, and to avoid the path of the wicked (1 Peter 5:8, Proverbs 4:14-15). We're praying that the Lord would give her the strength to resist any temptations and to make wise decisions.

We're asking all these things in Jesus' mighty name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father guide and protect this dear loved one. Keep her safe on the road and block any and all attacks. I lift this prayer up on your glory and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
