Instead, it's important to approach this situation with honesty and humility. It is only covered over by love according to Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strifes; but love covers all wrongs. We also want to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. No other name under heaven can save us from our sins.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this beloved child in prayer. We confess the mistakes made and seek your forgiveness. Lord, we ask that you grant the strength and courage needed to face this situation with honesty and humility. We pray for the parents, that they may react with understanding, love, and wisdom. Help this turn into an opportunity for growth and restoration. Guide this family, bless them, and let this trial be used to strengthen their bond and faith in you. We pray this to the Father, in Jesus' name.
We encourage you to take this as a learning experience. God uses our mistakes to shape us and draw us closer to Him. Psalm 32:5, I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn't hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. It may be difficult, but trust that God is working everything out for your good because you love Him according to Romans 8:28.
Lastly, consider the words of Proverbs 28:13, He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. Trust in God's promise and take the necessary steps to make things right.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
