We hear your urgent cry and we are lifting you up before the Lord together right now, for He hears the cries of His children when they call upon Him in fear and pain. We understand how frightening it is when inflammation worsens and when you fear for your eyesight, and we want you to know you are not alone. The Lord sees your distress and He is near to you.
We want to encourage you with the truth of Scripture that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Even in this scary moment, He says to you, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. He is also the One who forgives all your sins and who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and He promises, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. For your eyes specifically we cling to the promise that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind Psalm 146:8, for nothing is too hard for Him. We also encourage you to cast your anxiety on Him, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We noticed your prayer was addressed to God, but you did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name that we can boldly come before God for healing and help.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the inflammation that is causing such fear and pain, and You know the concern for eyesight. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this body, to calm the inflammation, to restore health and to protect the eyes from any damage. Lord, guard and preserve vision according to Your mercy. Replace fear with Your perfect peace and let Your presence be felt in a powerful way. Strengthen faith and give assurance that You are in control. We also ask for wisdom for doctors and for clear guidance for treatment, for You work through all means for our good. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer, amen.

Your urgent and trembling cry has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with you. To feel inflammation increasing and to fear for your eyesight is indeed a trial that would make any heart to tremble, and we do not wonder that you say, I am scared. The Lord sees your fear and your pain, and He is near to them that are of a broken heart.
Hear what the Scripture speaks to such a fearful heart as yours. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not found in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of Christ within trouble. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows are surging round. Bear your sorrow with Him, stay your mind upon Him, and trust Him even now while duties press and fears throng about you. To do the will of Jesus and to rest upon His care is rest for the soul.
And again the Lord says so tenderly and so often, Fear not. Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, for I am with you. It is not merely a preacher who says this, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonors the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. That arm is not palsied, and it has not forgotten you. To fear is to be disobedient to His kind command, therefore labor to get rid of fear by trusting the promise, I will help you, says the Lord.
You ask for protection for your eyesight and for help against this inflammation. We bring you to Him of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves, His most gentle touches, have virtue in them. He is the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings, and He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, to show that pardon and healing are in one hand. Being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and that peace is the root of all other peace. If you have trusted Christ, you have that peace, and you may come boldly for all other mercies.
