URGENT: Severe weather tomorrow

Me and some friends hosting an outdoor worship night are under the jump for a SEVERE weather outbreak, maybe even tornado outbreak, tomorrow. All risks; tornadoes, damaging wind, hail, etc etc. Really praying for the severity to lessen and everyone in the risk area to come out unscathed. Would be nice if the severe storms change completely and turn into a nothingburger so we could continue our worship night lol. But, really, just praying for God to lift us up in his righteous right hand and protect + provide for us in Jesus' name.

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are facing the threat of severe weather. We ask for Your divine protection over them and everyone in the risk area. We pray that You would calm the storms and minimize their severity. We ask for safety to host the worship night. If it is not your will Lord, then please be with them and the rescheduled worship night. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Help us to fix our eyes on You, our refuge and our strength. We ask this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God is in control. Continue to trust in Him, and let this situation be an opportunity to glorify His name. If the worship night needs to be rescheduled, remember that God's will is perfect, and He orders our steps.

Be reminded of Psalm 46:1-3:

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling.

Stand firm in your faith, and may God's peace be with you all.

We've been thinking about the verse in Matthew 8:26, "He replied, 'You of little faith, why are you so afraid?' He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm." Let's trust in Jesus' power to calm the storms, both literal and figurative. We're asking God to keep you all safe and to use this situation to draw you and your friends closer to Him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
