Disciple of Prayer
Thanks to pray for me, I'm passing a verry difficult period, the father of my wife and her family. They fight me with their envy. They are using my wife against me. I ask the Lord Jesus to reward them for this work. They destroyed my wife and now, out of hatred, they want to make my children homeless. I pray that the Lord Jesus gives me the love of my enemies and saves me. And may He bring my wife back to her senses so that she doesn't ruin her home.

We stand with you in this time of great trial, lifting you up before the Lord with urgency and deep concern for your soul, your marriage, and your family. The attacks you face are not merely from man but are spiritual battles, and we must address them with the full armor of God. You have done well to cry out to the Lord Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. We praise God that you have acknowledged Him in your plea, for Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is in His name alone that we find salvation, strength, and deliverance.

Your situation reveals the destructive power of envy, strife, and division—tools the enemy uses to tear apart families and marriages. The Word of God warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* The actions of your wife’s family are grievous, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Therefore, we must respond not with bitterness or retaliation but with prayer, forgiveness, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

First, we urge you to examine your own heart before the Lord. Have you sought His face in repentance, ensuring that there is no unconfessed sin in your life that could give the enemy a foothold? Scripture commands us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* This promise is for you today. Humble yourself before God, seek His face, and turn from anything that displeases Him. He is faithful to forgive and restore.

Regarding your wife, we must pray fervently for her salvation and deliverance if she is not walking with the Lord. A house divided cannot stand, and if she is being used as a tool of the enemy, it is because she is not firmly rooted in Christ. 1 Peter 3:1-2 instructs, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."* While this passage is directed at wives, the principle applies to all believers: our godly conduct, patience, and love can be a powerful testimony. However, if your wife is a believer but has been led astray, we must pray for her repentance and return to the Lord. James 5:19-20 says, *"Brothers, if any among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins."*

We must also address the grave concern for your children. The enemy seeks to destroy families, but God is a defender of the fatherless and the oppressed. Psalm 10:14 assures us, *"But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless."* Trust that the Lord sees the injustice against your children and will act on their behalf. We will pray that He surrounds them with His protection, provides for their needs, and shields them from the schemes of the wicked.

Now, let us pray together for you, your wife, your children, and even those who persecute you:

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is under severe attack. Lord, You are a God of justice, mercy, and deliverance, and we ask that You move powerfully in this situation. We rebuked the spirits of envy, strife, division, and hatred that are at work in this family, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against our brother shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your supernatural intervention in the heart of our brother’s wife. If she does not know You, Lord, soften her heart and draw her to repentance and salvation. If she has strayed from You, convict her by Your Holy Spirit and bring her back to the truth. Break the chains of manipulation and deception that the enemy has placed upon her. Restore her mind, her heart, and her loyalty to her husband and her family. Let her be a vessel of Your peace and love, not a tool of destruction.

Lord, we pray for the salvation of the family members who are acting out of envy and hatred. Father, You commanded us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). We ask that You soften their hearts and open their eyes to the destruction they are causing. May they come to know the love of Christ and turn from their wicked ways. If they refuse to repent, Lord, we ask that You thwart their plans and bring their schemes to nothing. Do not allow them to succeed in their efforts to harm this family or make these children homeless.

Father, we lift up these children to You. You are their Provider and Protector. We ask that You surround them with Your angels and ensure that they lack no good thing. Do not allow the enemy to rob them of their inheritance, their stability, or their future. Raise up godly influences in their lives, and let them see Your hand of provision and love even in this storm.

Lord, we pray for our brother’s strength and perseverance. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may respond to this trial with wisdom, patience, and godly love. Give him the grace to forgive those who wrong him, even as Christ forgave us. Remind him that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Let him rest in the assurance that You are fighting for him, even when he cannot see it.

Finally, Father, we ask that You restore this marriage and this family. Heal the wounds that have been inflicted, and rebuild what the enemy has tried to destroy. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power, Your faithfulness, and Your redemption. May this family emerge stronger, more united, and more committed to You than ever before.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, deliver, and restore. Amen.
---

Brother, we urge you to stand firm in your faith and continue to seek the Lord daily. Do not grow weary in praying for your wife and your family, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). Cling to the promise in Romans 8:28, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in this darkness, God is working for your good.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers who can support you, pray with you, and provide biblical wisdom. You do not have to walk this path alone. Finally, guard your heart against bitterness. Forgiveness is not optional for the believer; it is a command (Colossians 3:13). Trust that the Lord will vindicate you in His time.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We are standing with you in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up Your child who is in a deeply painful and difficult period. His wife's family is acting out of envy and manipulation, using his wife as a weapon against him and even threatening the stability of his children. The attack on his home and family is fierce.

Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over him and his children. Be their fortress and their shield. We pray for a mighty intervention in the heart of his wife. Soften her heart, open her eyes to the truth, and bring her back to her senses so she does not participate in the destruction of her own home.

In the midst of this pain, grant him the supernatural strength to obey Your command in Matthew 5:44 to "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." This is a humanly impossible task, so we ask for Your divine love to fill his heart, guarding him from bitterness.

We trust in Your perfect justice, knowing that You see all things and will repay. We ask for mercy and salvation for all involved, and for the restoration of this family.

In the mighty and reconciling name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
